My Journey in Galgotias University

Overall Rating
I am currently in my final year for B.Sc (Medical Biotechnology) and would to say that this has been a very eye-opening and knowledgeable experience for me. There was so much more to my degree and so much to learn. I loved every aspect of it. I chose this particular college as it was close to my hometown and not many colleges offer B.Sc Biotechnology. It gives full ‘college life experience’ that everyone dreams of. Many fests, cultural and fun activities, celebrities coming to promote their work, you get to experience it all and life you live before being sucked into the corporate world.
 

Academics Rating
As for the quality of education provided by the university, I would say it is above average and you would learn about new and recently developed technologies, a little beyond the Bachelor’s level actually. We get to study some subjects that are generally introduced at master’s level in some other colleges. The lab is a little lacking honestly but from my freshmen year to my final year many new instruments have been installed and I am guessing it'll keep improving, so by the time you enroll it'll be good enough.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of the faculty I interacted with had been very supporting and encouraging and I am even comfortable enough with them to text them late at night to ask them my doubt.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a placement cell at our university and it is quite effective as well. When you enter the final year of your course, they would ask for your email and resume and will notify you of every job offer you are suitable for. The jobs and packages are not bad as well compared to other colleges. Some offers are actually every graduate's dream. The cell helps you at every step; from apply for the interview to starting you first day at job.
 

Hostel Rating
The university does not offer hostel for girls, it is for boys only. But the university is associated with some hostel groups that offer nice, comfortable and safe dwelling for girls. I also found my hostel through university.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our university's infrastructure is average. There are 6-7 blocks in our campus and the construction for new one is ongoing. The classroom size is normal, not too small not too big. Most of the classrooms have digital projectors as well for sharing presentations and videos with the class. The cafeteria is nice as well, many stalls are available offering variety of foods and beverages and even a small supermarket is available offering daily use items and many more stuff.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life has been thrilling to say the least. Every week there is a new event going on in my campus and my personal favorite are DJ nights. Many celebrities come to our university to promote their upcoming work such as Kartik Aryan, Ranbir Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Siddharth Malhotra and many more and I'll let in on another fact as well that our university holds the biggest fest of North India 'Unifest'. There are many clubs available as well so many activities are waiting for you. Apart from all the fun, many educational events are also held at our university like Hackathons and stuff.

    I am studying in galgotias University from 2024 it is located in greater noida Uttar Pradesh since 2011 in this University variety of courses is available like engineering , management , law and different type of medical courses like Bachelor of pharmacy , bachelor of physiotherapy and nursing .
