Overall Rating
Considering my overall experience at DiST since 2023. A lively academic setting with committed faculty and a wide range of extracurricular activities is provided by DiST College Angamaly. The campus encourages student participation and teamwork by cultivating a strong feeling of community. The facilities are kept up properly and assistance is available. The experience is well-rounded and it fosters both intellectual and personal development.
 

Academics Rating
About the course: Master in Journalism and Mass Communication, a two year duration program. This course can help the students to pursue job at media, print and radio. The eligibility for admission is a valid Degree in any stream from any recognized University. The college provides better facilities like labs, studio, camera equipments, etc which help the students to practice and be future ready.
 

Faculty Rating
A well educated faculty team is available for the students. They are always ready and well committed towards their job. They help the students in theory and practical work. Better concentration is given on weak students in order to bring them up in academics. At present there are two faculties who are Ph.D holders.
 

Placement Rating
College has a placement cell that cooperates with group of reputed companies and corporate offices. The cell helps the students to have a better future.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus has two main academic blocks, each with 5 floors. One for MBA and IMCA courses. It has an Air Conditioned seminar hall, lift facility, a computer lab, toilets (extra for visitors), etc. The other block has two computer labs, washrooms on every floor, studio (audio and video studios), etc. A canteen with enough stuff and also a reprography where students can buy essential academic items.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is a one. A number of about 2000 to 2500 students bring a better crowd experience. This can be witnessed in various fests and cultural programs. 14 clubs are open for students and they can choose their favorite club and engage with them in various activities.

    Ernakulam has only 3 institutes providing PG in Journalism and Mass Communication. I chose DiST to complete my Post Graduation as they had the best facilities for my field compared to others.     Modern facilities and committed faculties provide a nurturing learning environment at DIST College in Angamaly. A comprehensive academic and extracurricular experience is encouraged on campus.     This college is better than other colleges for studying. College conducts different types of programs and it is sometimes good and somewhere mediocre.     Being a media student, my experience was extremely worth my time. Dist provides more career oriented experience, with well-versed and experienced faculties of the field. We are also invested in the institute's extracurricular activities with equal importance to academics.
