Overall Rating
Hello, I am a final year B.Tech (textile technology) student of UPTTI, Kanpur. My main aim to join this college is, there unique branch because everyone wants to become an engineer but nobody focuses on the process. Due to one of my relative who is an ASIA HEAD and is well known in Textile Multinational Company I came to this college.
 

Academics Rating
Courses offered- B.TECH, M.TECH. PH.D Branches offered- computer science (recently started in 2024), Textile technology, textile chemistry, man- made fiber technology, etc. Entry requirements- should have appeared in JEE Mains exam (no need to qualify, just appeared that's all). Eligibility criteria- 10+2 in PCM with aggregate marks 60% or have diploma in textile engineering, technology, chemistry, etc.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are quite cooperative and have thorough and practical knowledge about the subject. As you all know this is a state government college so no need to compare with private institutions. I must say their style of teaching and enthusiasm level is always high.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a placement cell with almost 100% placements in every branch. As I mentioned in my above review this is a government college and it’s been approximately 114 years since its establishment so no need to worry about the placement. Average C.T.C Offered-3.5 LPA. Highest C.T.C Offered-18 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Quite good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are two blocks- one is main building & second one is old building. Other than that there is a C.S block (newly developed). Canteen- Yes canteens are also available. Library- Yes, library is there with almost all books available in textile and GATE books are also available.
 

Campus Rating
College life and campus are mediocre. If you are serious about your placement perspective and you want to pursue masters in your future then this is a remarkable college that you might have ever seen. It totally depends on you what you want.

    I have completed B.Tech in Textile Technology from UPTTI Kanpur in 2018-2022 and this is a very popular textile government college in India and has completed 100 years. The most important thing is that the placement record is 100% with average package 3.5 CTC. I recommend you to visit the college campus once. College has latest equipment and instruments....
