My Perception on UPTTI

Overall Rating
Best institute in Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh Textile Technology Institute Kanpur was earlier known as Government Central Textile Institute and was established in 1914. Kanpur is a premier Textile center of north India. UPTTI is good for B.Tech and M.Tech.
 

Academics Rating
Through JEE Mains rank, admission can be taken here. Several courses like Textile Technology, Textile Chemistry, and Manmade Fiber Technology are available here. it is best institute in term of knowledge for textile industry. Curriculum for the regular exams needs to be updated to current times. Every faculty’s behavior is good.
 

Faculty Rating
Every faculty member is fabulous. Overall, teachers are good but their time management could be better. All of them have good teaching method.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, 100% placements are available here. It provides highest package 18 LPA. Many companies visit during campus drive. Overall, it helps in giving decent start to the career.
 

Hostel Rating
Best hostels are available here.
 

Infrastructure Rating
UPTTI’s infrastructure is very average, to be honest. It’s a small campus and classrooms are average. The computer labs need maintenance. Hopefully in upcoming years, there will be some improvements.
 

Campus Rating
Fests arrangement is also good in campus. Campus situated at the heart of the city and has many recreational areas where students could relax. Fests like Diwali celebration, Annual function, Fresher’s Party are outstanding here.

    I have completed B.Tech in Textile Technology from UPTTI Kanpur in 2018-2022 and this is a very popular textile government college in India and has completed 100 years. The most important thing is that the placement record is 100% with average package 3.5 CTC. I recommend you to visit the college campus once. College has latest equipment and instruments....
