Sister Nivedita University: A good institution to complete your higher studies

Overall Rating
The overall experience at SNU is really great. The environment makes it more suitable for both academic as well as other curricular activities such as sports, dance, etc. The University provides huge opportunities for the students of every department and the systematic culture of our admission cell is impressive. It's a growing University so it focuses on providing students with good placements.
 

Academics Rating
I was very determined towards my goal i.e., to become an Engineer. SNU organises a lot of Tech workshops to help the students get the glimpse of the real-life problem solving. They have an admission criteria of students securing 85% marks in boards and a good rank in JEE are eligible for admission; but if you don't qualify in JEE, you can get admission through Management Quota. SNU focuses on facilitating good placement opportunities to every student.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties of our department are helpful and encouraging. They are frank and make our teaching-learning process very smooth. There are expectations too but mostly faculties are really helpful to those students who actually seek for help and are eager to give extra knowledge to them. They mentor us for competing in Hackathons and to indulge in projects. Also, the teachers keep a track of the students’ progress.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, SNU has a Placement Cell. It has a department named CA3 that helps in improving the communication skills and outgoing personality of the students, and most importantly their leadership qualities. It encourages the students to take part in various Hackathons which helps them increase their coding skills.
 

Hostel Rating
Since I live in a PG, I don’t have any information to add on the hostel facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
It has a well-stocked library. There are two buildings, one is the A block, and the other is B block, which is the new building. They have mirrors in every washroom. The washrooms are really hygienic and clean. There is a dance ground called amphitheatre. There is a canteen, basketball court, labs, etc. which are quite good and well maintained. There is a separate space on the second floor for B.Tech students.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is really exciting and amazing; it has a garden where the flower changes with the seasons. The basketball court and canteen are mostly crowded. Recently food trucks for various food items have opened in the University like one for South Indian, another for pastry, momo, fries, sandwich, pasta, etc. Fest is conducted once a year and that is the Diwali Fest. There are many coding clubs for the students to improve their coding skills.

    Overall Rating
    The campus life in Sister Nivedita University is fun. There is no ragging. The academics do not give too much pressure. Exams are very easy. Faculties are not too strict for their rules. Class notes are enough for the exam. I took admission to this university because it had good reputation and easy to get in to. The university’s fee was also good.     My University has a ragging free campus where I can easily move out freely and the teaching process is kind of good. I don't need any extra tuition outside just because I attend classes regularly. If anyone wants to study and learn something then SNU is a nice University to take admission in.... Read Full Review
