Coming to Shiv Nadar University has been one of the best decisions I have made for my academic and personal growth. It has a wonderful environment as it has a bio-diversity, lush green nature, multiple facilities. People from diverse backgrounds come together in an open minded, inclusive community to bring out the best in each other. Apart from academics, the university has excellent sporting facilities and clubs that add to personal development of students. Overall, this place not only focuses on education but also on building character and leadership skills.

Academics Rating

Shiv Nadar University being one of the best private universities in India has a wide selection of courses. Apart from the major courses, it also provides with UWE (University Wide Electives) and CCC (Core Common Curriculum) which can be taken by students from different majors also. Even if you have an interest in other departments, you can easily approach the Head Of Department. The enrollment in can be done with the help of online portal. Students can plan and draft their own timetable and the sum of credits per semester.

The placement cell is known as CDC (Career Development Cell). Huge companies are linked with our placement team for on-campus recruitment. It also organizes various events and seminars where relevant people come and give advice, share their experience and add values to our vision. Every student begs a deserving placement based on his or her performance over the years. They have been placed at huge packages and the alumni help the students. They also help us build CV and often call us for regular meetings to discuss future ventures.

Hostel Rating

Yes, it has 5 hostels for students and apartments for campus residing faculty. The hostels are great, well structured, and clean. Rooms are offered as single, twin, or quadruple sharing. The cleaners regularly clean washrooms and rooms. The hostel security is up to the mark with the help of turnstiles. The hostel can personally solve small problems if the warden is not present. The warden offers a great help in every way. The hostels also have a study room, a common room, a game room, and a TV room for group gatherings.

The campus life is amazing. The university and its clubs organize lot of events and competitions for students to participate. The cultural fest, sports fest and the IT fest have a great vibe. Diverse students come together under one roof to participate and enjoy concerts of great artists. The university pays huge attention to security of students, only invited universities and students are allowed inside campus. SNU also provides huge exposure by sending students to other universities for their competitions and fests.
