SNU Greater Noida Helps in the Holistic Development of the Students

Overall Rating
My experience in this University is great till now. My teachers and parents suggested me to take admission in this University. They suggested it because they trust Shive Nadar Foundation. I belong to a village. The campus is surrounded by lush greenery. This University will help you in your development. The campus here is very much spacious. The books and research papers published by the professors really helped me in my personal development.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.A (Research) in History. I chose this course because it aligns with my future plan. For admission, the student has to qualify the Snusat entrance exam along with an interview. The admission process is quite simple; you just have to submit the required documents such as 10th & 12th Mark sheet, Income Certificate, Bonafide Certificate, etc. Each academic year consists of two semesters. The students also have to submit assignments. The academics prepare us for real life challenges in the best possible way.
The fee of my course is affordable and the University also offers scholarships to the students.
 

Faculty Rating
The professors of my department in SNU Greater Noida are very good and they have completed their education from top Institution such as DU, etc. They have written many research papers. One of our teachers, Dr Divya Kannan has won the ‘Grace Abbott Book Prize’ for the best book in English. She was awarded by the Society of Children and Youth. The nature of our teachers is very friendly. They also provide counseling to us. I am very attached with my professors and I use to ask a lot of questions to them. I really enjoy the way they provide answers and they encourage us to do research about the particular topic.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the University has placement cell. I am not focusing in the placements right now because I want to go for my higher studies. They have a platform called Superset where regular updates about the jobs have been posted on regular basis. Students are filling the form and sitting in the placement drive. They also have CDC members which help the students and guide them in placement process. A large number of students get placed from this University.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the University offers accommodation facilities to the Undergraduate students. The hostel for the boys and girls are separate. The mess is also there which serves 3 meals a day. I mostly like the evening snacks and midnight mess food. The rules are not that strict. Only the students of the first year are not allowed to go outside the hostel after 12:00 AM. My warden Vineeta Ma’am is really nice. Other two wardens are not that good. The experience depend on the hostel you’re living in.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of SNU Greater Noida has 2 academic blocks. It has library, 2 canteens, and various other facilities. The classrooms are huge and have enough seating capacity. The classrooms are fully air conditioned and have adequate facilities such as blackboard, etc. The garden is also there which is very peaceful. Overall, the infrastructure is good.
 

Campus Rating
My Campus life till now is fantastic. The campus crowd is huge and it increases every year. There are several clubs such as Dance Club, Art Club, Music Club, etc. Various fests are organised for the students such as ‘Breeze’ and ‘Surge’. Apart from this, a Fresher’s party is also conducted. Overall, I have learned many things in this University. I came here as an immature student and now I have become very sensible.

    I chose Shiv Nadar University because of its heavy emphasis on overall academics. It allows us to take minors and explore variety of subjects that interest us.     The university is good as they have a really flexible curriculum. You will have freedom of what you want to study and it’s related to the real life world. I personally chose this university over other universities because of this reason only.... Read Full Review

  • Shiv Nadar University Greater Noida campus is totally residential

    My father first recommended this college to me as I had not scored very well in JEE but got 90.89%. I met all the cutoff requirements for this college and I have heard about this college from my friends as well so I decided to get admission in this college.
