Good sports facilities

Overall Rating
There is a perfect balance between a lively and academic environment. I would definitely suggest being a part of this college. Attendance is not that strict here. Sports facilities and 6-10 libraries are available.
 

Academics Rating
The college is above average at academics. S K Somaiya Degree College of Arts, Science and Commerce offer only B.Com and B.A courses with an affiliation to Mumbai University. The science courses are privately handled. General documents like 12th mark sheet and leaving certificate will be required for the enrollment. The average fees for B.Com course are around Rs.20, 000/-. There is a Gujarati Quota available.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are young but experienced and willing to help you out if you get any doubt in studies. They are strict when it comes to assignment submissions and understanding if you are going through a genuine problem. They always support a sports enthusiast and overall, they are good.
 

Hostel Rating
There are 3 hostels on campus. One hostel is for females, second is completely for male students and the third one is partially divided between male and female students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college building has 5 floors in which the terrace area is on the 4th floor which is accessible to all. The benches at some classrooms are not well-furnished. Many Libraries are available on campus and some of them are fully air conditioned. There is an option of digital entry through identity card.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is the best at Somaiya campus. Many festivals, activities and events take place on campus. The campus also has one of the best sports academies in Mumbai providing you with all your sports requirements.

Out of all the colleges of Mumbai University ours is special as even though the college is under Somaiya Vidyavihar University, My course B.Com is still affiliated with University of Mumbai.     S K Somaiya Degree College of Arts, Science and Commerce are an autonomous college under the affiliation of University of Mumbai. It provides a variety of courses in humanities and commerce. I have been a student of SK for over two years now and it has been wonderful experience so far.     S K Somaiya College is one of the best colleges in Mumbai in terms of education. The campus is so big. The college teaching faculty is well qualified, and they help the students whenever they are in need. There are two libraries where the students can sit in the libraries and prepare for their exams. The fest conducted by the college is amazing. Each year they come up with different activities, sports games, and workshops.
