Overall, St Stephens is among top colleges of DU as we have best infrastructure among all the DU colleges. Many famous people such as Sagarika Ghosh, Kapil Sibbal, and Sachin Pilot among others have studied here. Apart from it, the huge Alumni network comprising of prominent bureaucrats and policy makers of the country including S. Jaishankar, and Shashi Tharoor. Among all the DU colleges, we have best set of hostels and a heritage monument (St Stephens Church).

With students of our generation hanging in is always an issue and this is where our faculties are masters. For students of St Stephens, nothing is worrisome because of the roles that our faculties play in shaping our career is commendable.

The placement cell of college known as campus placement cell is a student led society that helps students to crack placements in top-notch companies like McKinsey, Accenture, D.E. Shaw, etc. Among others are some of the big names that have shown up every now and then during the placements. Our placement cell prepare us for placements well before and therefore getting campus placements at St. Stephens is indeed a stroll in the park. The highest package was 25 LPA.

Yes, it’s not hostel it is a residence where we reside, it is a home away from home. The college residence provides excellent home alike facilities with college mess and recreational area known as the junior common room. The college mess provides food options for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian with all cherishing their meals in college mess. The hostel is not just a place where we stay but it is a place where we built life long memories and unforgettable experiences. The hostel is divided amongst 6 blocks with 3 each for both girls and boys.

The infrastructure of St Stephen's College holds a 143-year long heritage and legacy. The college is divided into different administrative blocks one for Arts and other for Sciences. The college library is well maintained with books ranging for all the disciplines. Apart from it, there is a separately maintained library in Science department. The labs in the college are maintained and taken care by able lab staff also each room in the college is properly ventilated with air conditioners and fans in every room. Apart from it, projector facility in the classrooms facilitates interactive sessions. The college has proper hangout places including café and Dhaba where students can chill and enjoy leisure time after classes.

Campus life certainly plays a very big role in student’s life. Our college societies, which are like in huge numbers invite participation, form whoever wants to learn and contribute. Our annual fest, ‘Harmony’ is also among one of the best fests of DU. I definitely can go on and on about my college as it is worth boasting day in and day out.
