Overall Rating
Dr. B.C. Roy Engineering College is a private college with moderate fee structure and a decent placement.

Academics Rating
The academics of college are good. The examinations are conducted on time. The internal examination schedule is decided by MAKAUT University under which all the courses are functional and conducted. This year, our college becomes autonomous and all the curriculum activities for newly admitted student are decided by college itself.

Faculty Rating
Most of the facilities are PhD holders. In our department, there are 11 professors. They try to complete syllabus and lab on time. We do not face any difficulty in operating lab machines but in theory classes, teachers stick to textbook (which can be improved).

Placement Rating
Almost 90% students of all technical branches like Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, etc are placed. The package is equivalent to 3 to 4 LPA.

Hostel Rating
Hostel Facilities are provided by the college for the students of outstation.

Infrastructure Rating
There are different academics buildings for various courses. In B.Tech, there is separate building for each branch. All the technical branches are in one building having separate floors for the courses. The basic amenities like washroom and drinking water are provided by college. To avoid ragging of first year student, they have separate building for conducting classes named Vidyasagar bhawan. It has café, medical room, separate GYM for boys and girls with washroom and drinking water facilities. The college has good facility for number of sports like cricket, basketball, and football.

Campus Rating
The campus life of Dr. B.C. Roy Engineering College is good. Activities and events are conducted from time to time.
