Initial Experience in JSSATEB

Overall Rating
We have a 21-acre lush green campus with grounds and courts to play many sports. In addition, there many benches around campus to sit, eat and chill. All students are lively. It has been almost 2 months in this college and I am enjoying it. Main highlight JSSATEB is environment and campus. There was also fresher’s day, which was awesome.
 

Academics Rating
I have taken up CSE (AI &ML) which sets the foundation of Computer Science and specialize in AI which as a promising future. Lab classes are there every week. Same curriculum is being taught to all the first year students of B.Tech, regardless of their branch. Minimum attendance to be maintained is 85 I got admission in this college through 2nd extended round of KCET. There are no interview or tests taken for students getting admission through KCET.
 

Faculty Rating
All faculty members teach very well. All of them are supportive. HOD of my department is very strict though. He is very rude with students. All other teachers are interactive and supportive. All teachers send notes for modules in google classroom, which is helpful.
 

Placement Rating
The placement is good but recession during past two years led to the downfall in the placement rate of JSSATEB. In 2022, the highest package was 45 LPA given by Amazon. Good companies like TCS, Kickdrum, Cognizant, and Deloitte come for recruitment. According to NIRF data, around 6-6.5 LPA is median package. It also shows good percentage of students were placed in the year 2023. Overall placements are considered above average. You can rank the college in top 20 Engineering colleges in Bangalore.
 

Hostel Rating
I do not live in hostel. However, by visual appearance girls' hostel seems bigger and well constructed than boys' hostel. In fact, boy’s hostel is situated outside the campus. The food is good and non-veg options are provided during weekend. Hostel fee for quadruple room is 85000 INR (for boys). There is also volleyball and badminton court inside boy's hostel and a GYM in the basement.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There is a big library filled with variety of books for academic purposes. You have to login with ur ID card to enter library, which is of two floors. College has well constructed labs equipped with good monitors. Every classroom is installed with projectors. There are two canteens in the campus, one being small and serves average South and North Indian vegetarian food and the other is a like a tuck shop popularly known as Purple Canteen, which is a chilling place to hangout.
 

Campus Rating
Many clubs are present in the college. Dance club, which is XSATT, is one of the best in Bengaluru. The reason for this is the fact that this club has given many winners and runner-ups in past. I am not well aware of how other clubs are. All clubs have their own social media page to get updates. In terms of fests, our college hosts fests quite seldom but they make it pretty booming. I recently attended fresher’s day, and seniors put up a great performance in dance, singing, and drama. Main thing in college life is to make good friends.

    The overall experience is pretty good as of now and I'm still in my first semester. The reason why I chose JSS Academy of Technical Education is that this college is a very reputed college and well known across the location. The college is located near to the metro station (Kengeri Bus Terminal) and the buses are always available. The college allows us to participate in extracurricular activities.     I am a first year student. In my opinion, JSS Academy of Technical Education, is good. It has beautiful campus and faculties are well behaved. We have to maintain attendance because faculties are strict in this matter. After coming here, you will get good friends and you will get to know you have lot of things to learn.     JSS Academy of Technical Education is a really good college which has a very huge campus (full of greenery). It has little pond which makes the college view more beautiful.
