JSSATE Bangalore: Placements & Extracurricular Activities

Overall Rating
The overall experience is pretty good as of now and I'm still in my first semester. The reason why I chose JSS Academy of Technical Education is that this college is a very reputed college and well known across the location. The college is located near to the metro station (Kengeri Bus Terminal) and the buses are always available. The college allows us to participate in extracurricular activities. The campus has a lush green eco system.
 

Academics Rating
The course that I have chosen is CSE AI-ML. I entered this college through KCET. The admission process takes almost half a day. Two internals will be conducted and many projects will be given. We have to submit the given projects in the specified time. The college prepares us very well for the end semester exam by having interactive classes. Studies are given the top most priority in this college.
The fee that I have paid is Rs. 1,15,000. Scholarships are available.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are very knowledgeable and are available at any time. Most of the teachers are suitable for our chosen course. Faculty members are well educated and are easy to approach. Except the faculty of Math, all the teachers use projector. Most of the teachers believe in interactive learning, constant questions are asked. The teachers can be asked any question regarding studies and their problem solving abilities are pretty good. There are about 100 teachers in our college according to me and each of them is very friendly to the students.
 

Placement Rating
Our college has pretty decent placements. From what I've heard, average package is Around 4 to 5 LPA and highest package awarded was 45 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
JSS Academy of Technical Education has hostel facility. The girl’s hostel is present inside the campus. The boy’s hostel outside the campus. Veg food is provided in the mess. I do not know much about hostel because I do not stay there.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our college has 3 blocks namely A, B, and C. A block is for CSE related streams, B block for Electronics related streams and C block for Civil stream. Our college has one KSCA ground , one basketball court, one tennis court, and one common ground. Library is present in the B block. There are two canteens in our campus. The classrooms are very spacious, with many windows and a projector inside each class, we have 2 to 3 seminar halls according to me.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is very good. There are many students in this college so the crowd is pretty big, the seniors are very friendly. I'm not aware of clubs in our college but I guess there are many. Each department in our college conducts fests and students from all the branches are allowed to participate in the fests. Ethnic day is conducted every year and many fests are conducted. The fests include both cultural and extracurricular activities.

    I am a first year student. In my opinion, JSS Academy of Technical Education, is good. It has beautiful campus and faculties are well behaved. We have to maintain attendance because faculties are strict in this matter. After coming here, you will get good friends and you will get to know you have lot of things to learn.     We have a 21-acre lush green campus with grounds and courts to play many sports. In addition, there many benches around campus to sit, eat and chill. All students are lively.
