Non-Academi
Within the JSS Academy of Technical Education Bangalore campus, a total of around 57 classrooms & lecture halls are present inside the academic blocks. Some of the classrooms & lecture halls also have advanced facilities such as LCD projectors, OHP, internet connectivity, etc. Beside this, the academic blocks also consist of about 4 tutorial rooms with an area of approximately 200 square meters for each.
The JSSATEB campus has several departmental seminar halls with ICT facilities and seating capacity of these halls ranges from 150 to 200 students in each. The JSSATE Bangalore campus also has an audio-visual room with seating space to accommodate around 100 students, around 4 auditoriums & discussion rooms (each), drawing hall, conference hall with about 220 seats, etc.
Common room, stationery store, recreation room, power back up, around the clock security, and some other additional amenities are also available at the campus.
JSSATEB campus facilities including academic and non-academic are stated below:
- Library: The Library and Information Centre at the Institute covers a carpet area of about 2018.18 square meters. This place is stacked with multiple collections of resources such as more than 48,000 volumes, 15,600+ titles, 10+ magazines & newspapers, 1300+ CDs, and others. A digital library / browsing center section is available inside the library with computer systems which students can utilise to access online resources such as 7900+ e-books, 51,000+ e-journals, etc.
Beside this, the library includes a reference section with about 350 students seating capacity, audio visual section, book bank section, reprographic services, newspaper section, etc. The campus also includes departmental libraries which are very helpful and useful for the students as it provides easy access of subject resources to them.
- Laboratories: Inside the JSSATE Bangalore campus, around 2 Computer Centres are present and each one has seating arrangement for about 100 students. To provide computing facilities at every corner in the campus, the Institute has a total of more than 900 computers connected with LAN.
45+ departmental laboratories have been set up with modern equipment and tools to facilitate practical learning experience to the students. Some of the departmental labs at the campus include Engineering Geology Lab, Programming Labs, Physics Lab, and Energy Conversion Lab.
- Sports: The Department of Physical Education and Sports have been formed to look after the conduction and engagement of students in the sports activities. The outdoor games facilities at the JSSATE Bangalore campus consists of Lawn Tennis Court, Basketball Court, Leather Ball Cricket Ground, Practising Cricket Pitch, Volleyball Court, Hockey Ground, and the list goes on with many others.
Along with this, an Indoor Sports Complex is present which has adequate amenities for Table Tennis, Chess, Carom, etc.
- Hostel: A total of 3 hostels are available which includes 2 for boys and 1 for girls. The JSSATE Bangalore hostels can collectively accommodate 750+ students. At the hostels, students get the rooms in single, double, and triple occupancy with all the necessary living amenities. Other than that, hostellers get mess facilities with dining hall, gym, internet connectivity, sports, TV room, and other amenities.
- Eateries: Within the JSSATE campus, a canteen, covering an area of over 1000 square feet is developed to cater to the varied food requirements of the students. Both North and South Indian vegetarian meals are offered to the students at reasonable prices. At the canteen, more than 500 students can be accommodated. Apart from this, a ‘Café Corner’ is available inside the campus of the Institute.
- Transportation: Buses have been appointed by the Institute for providing pick & drop services to the students across the different routes of the city.
- Gymnasium: A gym spread across an area of about 460 square meters is present with equipment & machines like treadmill, bikes, smith machines, and so on.
Banking: JSS Academy of Technical Education Bangalore campus has an ATM of ‘Union Bank of India’ to provide financial services to the students.
