A good college choice for better future

Overall Rating
I am currently pursuing a B.Tech degree in the domain of Information Technology from PSG College of Technology. My overall experience is good, and I got a good placement from this college which will be helpful for my career. I chose this college through TNEA Counseling because of its good reviews and location. It is a good choice for building a successful career for the talented students.
 

Academics Rating
Basically, this course requires minimum cutoffs 185 marks out of 200 marks for joining through TNEA Counseling. This course is specialized in the important core subjects like Data structures, Operating Systems, Database Management Systems which will be very helpful for the students to get placed in good company. These subjects also motivated me to choose this program.
 

Faculty Rating
Our college has talented faculties as each faculty in our course will be an expert in a particular domain. Each professor has a different teaching style which is helpful for the students to get engaged in the class. Currently, our department has 20+ faculties. Each faculty has experience in publishing research papers and books as most of them have already completed their Ph.D.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a Placement Cell in our college. It has one of the best placement records and salary packages among all Tamil Nadu colleges. The placement rate is almost 90% every year. More than 100 companies visit our campus especially for IT and CSE students. The average salary package of our college is around 10 LPA to 12 LPA.
 

Infrastructure Rating
PSG College of Technology is located in the center of the Coimbatore city which is helpful for many students, but the college area is small because they are located in outer regions of the city. The infrastructure of our college is quite good, and renovation of buildings occurs periodically. It has good lab facilities, library, canteen and bridge for connecting hostel and college.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, campus life was worth it with colorful memories. Our college conducts events like Intrams, Kriya, Shristi, and many more periodically. Students have active participation in those events. Since many of our college events are intercollegiate events, the prize pool is awesome, and we have good experience and engagement. It has 20+ clubs, and each student takes part in a maximum of 2 - 3 clubs. These clubs also conduct events between seniors and juniors.

    I chose the integrated M.Sc. program in PSG College of Technology which is for 5 years, and it is very good. I chose this course because it has 1 year of internship programs at different companies. The hostels are neatly maintained, and you might see a lot of south India.     My College life has been so much fun and educational. I chose PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, since it's one of the most prestigious Institutions in Tamil Nadu, which is my home state. Moreover, the placement opportunities here are too good to be true. The faculties are strict yet highly experienced and helping, which you won't find in many Colleges.
