Life at CBIT

Overall Rating
CBIT is one of the most recognized institutes. It is known for its brand value. If you want to crack placements and if you want to grow your network, I feel this is one of the best institutes. Placement support is very good in our institute but the competition is very high.
 

Academics Rating
I am studying Electronics and Communication Engineering. So to get a seat in our branch (general category), you should have ranked around 4-5k in the state entrance. Academics are good. Lab facilities are good. I have chosen this branch so that I can move to software or any other core sector.
 

Faculty Rating
In our institute, the teaching and non-teaching staffs are more than 300. Each department has almost 50-60 members. In the teaching staff, almost 85% of staff holds a doctorate. Lab technicians are also best in their respective areas. Each classroom has a projector these days so faculty is using presentations to teach. Faculty is well experienced in different areas of the Electronics and Communication subjects. Some faculty even has patents.
 

Placement Rating
CBIT has a placement cell called Career Development Center, which relentlessly work towards betterment of students. Placement percentage in previous years stands mute testimony of cell. From each class, 3 students are elected as placement coordinators. Placement coordinators look after the placement related issues.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we do have hostel facility in our institute. Hostel is located very close to the institute campus. It is just 700 - 800 meters away. Students of hostel come to institute by walking as it is walking distance. Our institute provides bus facility to hostel students during lunchtime. Students of hostel go by bus to hostel during lunch have lunch and get back to institute by the same bus. Food at hostel is very good in terms of taste and hygiene. At evening, snacks are provided. Tea, milk, and non-veg food is offered twice a week.
 

Infrastructure Rating
CBIT is one of the old institutes, yet it has large area separate blocks for each department. Labs are fully equipped with hardware and software required. Each department has its own seminar hall to host any meetings, cultural events at department level or even at institute level. We do have an auditorium at center of institute mostly cultural events held there.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, campus life is good. There are many clubs like Chaitanya Geethi, Chaya, and Swasthya to explore and exhibit your talent in front of large people. Every year, fest is conducted that goes on for two days and technical fest is called ‘Sudhee’ and events like technical writing, quizzes, paper presentation are part of this fest. For 3rd semester students, a cricket tournament is conducted class wise. The winners are given cup.

    I am studying in CBIT. It is one of the best colleges through EAMCET and it is almost equal to NIT or IIT colleges. The environment is very good.     Choosing Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology is the best thing in my life. Being the top most institutes in Telangana it had its own perks. Not just in terms of academics but even in extracurricular activities. It gave me opportunity to express my ideas & innovations and guidance to step forward and dream big.     As a student we always prefer the best college to study and invest our valuable four years of engineering. But when it comes to narrowing down our options to one and opting the college is an uphill task.
