Don Bosco- Affordable & Good

Overall Rating
I consulted among my peers for finding a near and affordable college and this college was a common name based on my requirements and it also had a good reputation among engineering colleges. I called them regarding the fee structure and other related queries and got a sound response regarding the details.
 

Academics Rating
The course I have enrolled is B.E. The branch is Electronics and Communication Engineering. The entry requirements are simple, we write a generalized exam regarding the admission to engineering colleges and students are placed according to our ranks. The course was an easy choice as we could branch out to either software or hardware after completion of the course.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is experienced here with more than 10+ years of teaching experience in various colleges. They have a thorough grasp of the subject they teach and try to teach the topics and concepts in simple methods which makes it easy to understand. Lots of exam problems are solved as to prepare us for the main exams.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have placement cell in our college and it helps us in securing jobs in our respected fields as they intimate us on the skills required for placements and it also organizes internships.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, hostel facility is provided to girls and boys. The hostels are located separately and various events are organized for the host élites and festivals are celebrated.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our college has a huge campus spread in 27 acres which consists of separate buildings for every department present in the college. We also have grounds which are dedicated for separate sports and events. A library consisting of large amount of books ranging from educational to recreational is available.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is good. We have a cultural club named Tridha which is managed by students under the guidance of teachers who coordinates and organizes various activities and fests. We also have individual forums from each department which organize various technical events for the branch. The fests are grand that goes on for 2 days. Excellent events are conducted in the tenure.

    I had the best engineering life with interesting classes and other engaging activities. Even our teachers were friendly and used to clear all our doubts. We also had very good campus placements.   • DBIT is quite a liberal college
     

    Overall Rating
    DBIT is the top college of Bangalore and for Computer Science definitely the best. The college just has 2 courses in M.Tech and Computer Science is one of the hottest. My personal views on the college is that there are some excellent points while there are some substandard things as well. Don Bosco Institute of Technology is located quite far from Bangalore central and the college bus becomes imperative.
