Experience of Third Year Student in JIIT, Noida

Overall Rating
My overall experience at JIIT, Noida is great. It is a great place to pursue your Undergraduate. I have learnt a lot from college in my 3 years of college journey .I chose this college because it is near to my home and heard a lot from my other seniors who have passed out from this college, their overall experience was great.
 

Academics Rating
JIIT Noida offers various courses like B.Tech, BBA, B.Sc, MBA, and M.Tech. B.Tech is however most popular choice for students. Admissions are based on JEE and 10+2. Counseling happens and based on cut-off to you get your branch. It offers streams like CSE, ECE, IT, and Biotechnology.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are good and will always help you in clearing your doubts in class. They do not try to rush the syllabus or finish it before time. Faculties are highly qualified holding PhD and some are still pursuing it. They give assignments so that students can practice questions.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are good. Around 500 companies visit campus to recruit students for various roles. They come not just for placements but for also internships offering CTC of up to 1 LPA. Most of the companies visit for software role with good pay. Some the companies that visits are Google, Amazon, Microsoft, JP Morgan, Chase, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, college has residential facilities in the campus, which costs around 2 LPA. This amount includes hostel charges along with mess charges. They have a laundry facility also. Hostel has GYMs and clubs for recreational activity.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus is not too big, and academic blocks are nearby each other. College is well equipped with library that is full of books, journals, e-books, research paper and equipped with Wi-Fi. College has canteen and is open until 9 PM. There is one tug shop for all your need. medical facility is also there where doctors are available 24/7.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good. Crowd is also very supportive. You will find seniors who will help. Many clubs are there which you can join based on your interest like debate, dancing, singing, fashion, etc. Impression is the official fest of JIIT Noida which happens to be in the month of March every year

    My experience in my institute has been quite good. The major factor which made me choose JIIT Noida is their placements because the average package of our institute is nearly 11 LPA and the median package is around 9 LPA which is far better than other private institutes in India.     From my experience, I would say that the usual environment of the college is that of more focus on studies along with plenty of pockets of opportunities for the students in extracurricular activities through various student clubs and groups and also through the annual fests held in the college.     Till now it has been a smooth experience with JIIT. I will mention both the positives and negatives Positive: good lab infrastructure and qualified teacher. Negatives: poor sports facility.     To my side College is not as good as I expected before coming to college by seeing the reviews and YouTube videos. But it’s an average college with average placement. The Girl to Boy ratio in college is good, you can easily get a partner. The study here is okay but very strict time table.     I joined this college on 10+2 merit based counseling which is very fairly done. This college overall I would say is 7/10 for study, 5/10 Hostel, and 6/10 for placements. But what you could get here is very good environment and its present at the most premier location. You can easily get mode of transport for any place.
