Overall Rating
I am currently in my second year, pursuing B.Com (Hons.) from Indraprastha college for Women, a well reputed college of University of Delhi. My overall experience is good. I met too many good people who brought a lot of positive changes in me and my life. I chose this institute because it is a north campus college. I love its infrastructure. If you want to attend college regularly then go for IP because it is very strict in terms of attendance and very academics oriented. If you love a good environment, then you should choose IP.
 

Academics Rating
To enroll in B.com (Hons.), the entry requirement is CUET. I scored 740/800 in the CUET in the general category. I come from a commerce background, and I enrolled for this program to make a career in the commerce field. IP is considered as one of the good colleges for B.com (Hons).
 

Faculty Rating
I am in Semester 3rd and the faculties are very experienced, knowledgeable and supportive like for example our FM and marketing professors. They say if you have any problem not only academics related but also personal, you can come to us at any time. Their teaching style is appreciable. Vinita ma’am explains marketing with proper examples, she involves us in conversation and all teachers nicely teach except one or two, whose teaching style I personally don't like.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, IP has its Placement Cell name JEET, and it is active. This year around 30 students got placed in Deloitte and EY. It finds internship opportunities for students and help them in placements as well.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are two hostels. One is the IP hostel and the second is the KG hostel which is on- campus. I don't know much about hostels but yes rooms are big and spacious.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the college is very beautiful and big. That white building looks like a white house and makes it different from other colleges. There are different types of beautiful flowers that are maintained and grown especially in winters. There are orange trees as well. The college also has a swimming pool and a sports ground which is too big with an attached tennis and basketball court. The Nescafe and Amul outlets are under construction and the college canteen was renovated this year.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, campus life is good and if you have good friends then it is the best. The fests of IP are decent because the college doesn’t invite popular people. It focuses on culture and the college crowd is okay as well.

    This college has been an absolutely amazing experience so far. I feel blessed to be part of such a good college. Since I was in the NEP batch, I gave CUET and got this college according to my preference.
