TNNLU, Trichy was established in 2012. It is in the stage of developing as an emerging top NLU's. It didn't have a good location as it is on the outskirts of Trichy. But, the faculty members here are supportive and so dedicated to law. The barrier is a problem if you belong to the northern part of India. The University has more than 50%+ reservations for Tamil students. The Tamil students are so supportive and academically competitive. You will also get a good crowd as several students who are from Tamil Nadu leave the top NLU’s as they want to remain in their city or state. It also helps you to improve your English speaking as it is the only way of communicating with students and your classmates. Faculty is so versed and good in their field of teaching. We also have greenery surroundings around our campus. Good infrastructure, number of shops nearby makes the journey even more lovable. We have timings for classes from 9'0 clock to 4’ o clock for classes. We also have no. of Maggi, pizza, burger and juice shops inside the campus.

TNNLU, Trichy offers you two courses B.A.LL.B (Hons.) & B.Com.LL.B (Hons.). TNNLU, Trichy accepts admission based on CLAT Rank, and its cut-off is not constant, it changes every year. There are two exams conducted every semester which are midterm & end term examination.

Faculties are good and well-versed in their subject. There are teachers that are here on a contractual basis but they are also exceptionally good. In our B.Com LL.B, we have Faculty of B.com LL.B and we also have some subjects of B.A.LL.B, so at that time we get faculty for that subject as well. Faculties are on a contractual basis but didn't change that much. Faculties are so interactive and helpful. They have extra time for students doubt clearance after the class is over. We also have mentoring session where we can have proper guidance.

The first batch of TNNLU, Trichy graduated in 2018. Campus placement as of now, 2024 is decent. We have 4-5 Student alumni who went to Trilegal and several students to other Tier 1 & Tier 2 Law firms. The placements majorly happen for companies based in Chennai & area of Tamil Nadu. Faculties are not that much active but have good connections in the firm.

Hostels have good infrastructure and area. We have a Unisex Gym on our campus. Other facilities provided include good Wi-Fi connection, separate mess for girls and boys, big Common Hall, etc. Initially, we provided triple sharing rooms to the first year students. Then we have twin sharing rooms for further educational years at the University. The warden is also very helpful & they provide you with proper guidance and help whenever you are sick or in need. The faculty in charge of the hostel is also active and is ready to take strict actions for any wrong happening. Mess food in the beginning can be less comfortable but it serves better food than others.

TNNLU, Trichy has a good and clean Campus with well-equipped resources. There is a building we call it an amenities block where we have a canteen, UCO Bank Office and a Post Office on the ground floor. On the first floor, we have a Gym, Music room, and Legal Aid Centre, and on further floors, we have a dance room, pro bono center room, etc. We also have a Multi-purpose hall where major events and programs happen. The big auditorium is used for farewell and valedictory ceremonies. We have different buildings for UG block and PG block. We have a badminton court, basketball court, cricket ground, and faculty’s quarter, and Library block.

TNNLU, Trichy has good campus life experience. There are events and festivals of North & South India celebrated collectively and with full enjoyment. We also have different committees to make arrangements for these events. DJ nights are so good in TNNLU. You will get a mix of song experiences and a lot of events are organized with face masks. The additional events organized at the University include Halloween, Garba night, Rangoli making, Dance events, Music events, some playful events, football events, basketball events, cricket events, Diwali, Holi, Pongal, Onam, etc. There are multiple clubs, cells & committees in the University, some of them are Moot Court Committee, ADR Committee, Legal Aid Committee, Pro bono Club, Dance Club, and Music Club, etc. that are active.
