Overall Rating
PES environment is rigorous and encourages you to work hard. There is a sense of competition that pushes you to strive for excellence. One of the key reasons that I chose this college was that I knew it has plenty of clubs that would enable me to meet new people and do something out of academics. The location being in Bangalore i.e the tech city of India so getting placements and internships would be a bit easy than other locations.
 

Academics Rating
Entry requirements for this college are: 1) PESSAT, it is just like COMEDK and is pretty easy to crack. At 1500 rank you can get CSE which is the most demanding course here. 2) JEE is on a percentile basis and keeps changing every year. Courses offered here are: CSE, ECE, EEE, Bio-tech in terms of B.Tech. It's one of the best colleges in Karnataka regarding placements, so it can be your backup option if you don't get NIT.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty at PES is outstanding, as nearly all professors are Ph.D holders in their respective fields and have a combination of academic knowledge and industry experience. The professors are approachable and there are also opportunities to work as a teaching assistant to help students further develop their skills and gain firsthand experience in academics.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a placement cell on our campus. It does a pretty good job in getting you internships in 3rd year and for placements in 4th year. PES is one of the best in terms of placements in Karnataka. Big companies like Apple, Microsoft, and Amazon have come to this college for offering recruitment.
 

Hostel Rating
No I am not a hosteller, but I have friends who are there in hostel and it's pretty good as compared to other colleges. For mess only you get 3 options: one, pure veg. mess, one, North Indian mess and one, proper South Indian mess that caters for the pallet of students coming from different regions. You have an option to choose between these messes every month. Laundry service is also there and it is included in this hostel fee, which is twice a week.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure again is one of the best in Bangalore. As it was the 50th year of PES they have created a new building called "Golden Jubilee Block" and you'll feel like you're studying in abroad. Other academic blocks are pretty good as compared to other colleges. In terms of sports, there are indoor courts, gyms, etc.
 

Campus Rating
There are a lot of clubs present in this college from dance and drama to tech and robotics clubs. Fest happens once a year and it's like the whole week of dress-up days and food stalls that is pretty fun. Other than that we have Kannada Rajyotsabha week from 1st Nov to 7. Kannada concert happen and other music festivals are also arranged. In Crowd you'll mostly find people from Bangalore or Karnataka as there is a reservation for KCET people.

    The college is really good for engineering. I personally liked it a lot. You might get mixed reviews everywhere but for me its great the academics, events held, infrastructure...everything is good.     My overall experience at the university is excellent. The major reasons for my sayings are its infrastructure, campus life, social interactions, faculty’s expertise, placement records, and internships. The university provides a perfect balance between the academic life and campus life. The infrastructure is also very good with modern classrooms and labs.     Overall, I would say that campus is awesome and the quality of life in terms of education and extracurricular activities is quite good. Students from high society club are a part of this university as the fee is slightly on the higher side but no complaints as facilities are too good.
