Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore aka IIMB is situated at the Silicon Valley of India, Bengaluru. It was established in 1973 as an Autonomous Educational Institution. It currently holds 2nd position in NIRF Ranking 2024. Shri B.V. Doshi is the architect of this renowned Institute. It has a lush green campus of 100 acres filled with flora and fauna. The campus is divided into many zones like Hostel & Mess, Residential area, Academic blocks & Classroom. One can find cute cats and rare birds around the campus. IIMB provides lots of amenities like sports complex, library, gym, canteen, Amul, Mitti Cafe, laundry, salon and a ton of hangout spots.

The courses offered here are exceptionally well structured, relevant, and designed by professors who are graduates from renowned worldwide Institutions. The cases offered along the courses are from highly sought after sources like HBR, IVEY, ISB, etc. IIMB offers a range of degree courses to cater students from different backgrounds and interests. International students are also welcomed via Student Exchange, Dual Degree and various other courses. Students seeking admissions in IIMB need to clear CAT with minimum cutoff percentiles. On being shortlisted they have to go through interview procedure before landing the final offer.

The faculty here at IIMB is highly educated, professional and they display highest levels of commitment to impart their knowledge to the students. Professors with experience and knowledge from around the world help to cultivate invaluable leadership skills in their students along with in-depth knowledge of subject matter. Hostel is an integral part of any academic Institution and we do boast of a very well maintained hostel. We have total 18 Hostel Blocks and among them the new blocks Q and R offer rooms with proper hotel like experience. Bathrooms are kept clean and equipped with solar geyser for 24 hour hot water facility. Rooms are allocated based on cheats drawing system. Yes we do make bonds in hostel itself.

The 100 acre campus is filled with greenery that also is a treat to the eyes. This coupled with the astonishing architecture makes it really The Place to B. Most of the structures are made of stones here as shown in the movie 3 Idiots. We have pretty open air theatre where all the majority of the events take place.

This is my favorite part and I have lot to say but will try to dial down a bit. The campus life of IIMB is something so fascinating and intimidating simultaneously. It is filled with joy, emotions, and memories. Every year around 600 new students join the program enhancing the diversity of this place. The cultural committee here is very active and we celebrate all major festivals across the states. Besides that, we have various club and committees that help us to engage in interests beside studies. Everyday something or other keeps happening at the campus. These 2 years of MBA life at IIMB can fill you with life long memories.
