CUH was established in 2009 is a developing university offering various ranges of courses in different fields. It is Located in the outskirts of Haryana with an aim of development of the area. Having a central university there has evolved the locality over the period of time but if you have stayed in a city your whole life then you might face some issues regarding the distance for cafeterias and necessities. Overall, the infrastructure is developed, having well-structured academic blocks with AC rooms, lift facilities, labs for practical examination, and 24x7 free Wi-Fi facilities. The university campus is situated over 450 acres of land, having a separate admin block, 4 academic blocks, 3 boys' hostel and 4 girls' hostel. As the old hostel for girls and boys are at a distance of 1.5 km from the academic blocks so the bus facility is also provided to them. If you are a nature lover then you'll enjoy the greenery at campus along with a variety of birds here.I am a resident of Haryana and this was the nearest central university along with the good faculty of my department, which I have searched online were the reasons I chose this university.

I am a student pursuing a Masters in Commerce. The eligibility for this course is just a Bachelor’s degree in the same field related to commerce and business. One of the main reasons for coming here was the faculty, when I was searching for the university I viewed the profiles of the professors and their papers were published in the well established journals. The academic curriculum of this department covers major scope of commerce but the problem here is the same as in the Indian Education System with no technical and practical experience, but they do offer credits for a month internship and dissertation in the last 2 semesters.

The department has renowned faculty members. They have more than 10+ years of experience and are masters of their field. Although sometimes their scholars (Ph.D students) take the classes. Overall, their teaching style is good, interactive and they encourage students to participate in the class along with that they also support students to organize and engage in the extracurricular.

We do have a Placement Cell, but it needs improvement as it is not operating at a good pace.

Yes, we do have 3 hostels for boys and 4 for girls. The 2 new girls' hostels are near academic blocks so it's easy for them to walk to departments but for the other hostels, bus facility is there to pick and drop them from old hostels to academic block at fixed timings. There is a gym, mess, canteen, lift, 24x7 Wi-Fi facilities, and a good spacious area inside the hostel to play badminton or any outdoor fun games. Along with all of this, a salon and laundry facility are also there. There is also one restaurant near Gate no. 2 for students to hang out with their friends.

In terms of infrastructure, I didn't expect a government university to have such nice blocks and facilities like that of private colleges. A well designed and spacious classroom with AC and projector facilities. Each floor has a maximum of 2-3 departments. Different blocks are there for different subjects and each floor have different departments. They have lab facilities and all the necessary equipment.

The campus life here gives the perfect space to live your college years with your friends and learn and explore. Being established far away from cities and putting yourself out of your comfort zone gives you a broader perspective of life. Meeting people from different parts of India and living with them also allows you to know different perspectives about different things. Going out on night walks within the vastly spread campus till 10:30 is allowed and after that it's the closing time for hostel gates. Every Indian festival is celebrated here on such a massive scale from Onam to Navratri Pooja, everything is organized by the students. An annual event at the university also takes place every year in the month of February.
