OIST is Remarkable

Overall Rating
Overall, it is very interesting to study at OIST. I am still in my second year. Placements are getting better and all of a sudden, it has become the biggest center of attraction in the city. Academics though are always in our head as how we are going to finish the long assignments as we have just have too many assignments to submit every semester.
 

Academics Rating
I just finished my third semester and we had 6 core and two elective subjects in each semester so far. Most institutes offer AI-DS while we have DS in CSE and that's the unique part of our academics. Studies here are imperative. Even though we are pushed to do beyond studies but one thing, certain and they are that studies here are paramount.
 

Faculty Rating
Pioneers as no other words can be befitting for them. Colossal methods and their hands on teaching has ensured that even though there is such a lengthy course but we still instill all of it in our heads. Classes are always interesting, as our faculties have made sure that all students should be mentally present and those who mess around gets severe beating in internals.
 

Placement Rating
Cognizant, HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra, IBM, and what not, visit the institute during recruitment season. Placements are our institute are enormous and as I said before they are getting better. Campus recruitment training program starts in the third year and whoever does it wholeheartedly is assured of campus placements.
 

Hostel Rating
There are boy’s and girl’s hostels inside OIST and are quite good. That is what my hostel friends have told me.
 

Infrastructure Rating
From the look of it, it's not less than a parliament. Yes, the main block is designed in that way. All the blocks of the campus are too good to be ignored mentioning. Our auditorium is also one of the most spacious rooms as nearly 1000 students can be seated at once. Library too is humongous and beside the course books, we have fiction books and journals too.
 

Campus Rating
From Hackathon to annual fest are the best Navotsav, which was Navratri fest was also celebrated here. There are amazing students and some incredible clubs such as Pixela Club, Mental Well Being Club and Coding club to mention a few. Students are also hardworking here as they devote all their skin in the game to make all the events of the institute successful.

    I have taken admission in 2024. I chose this Institute because of its fee structure. It is a very good Institute in Bhopal. The way the teachers teach is very unique and good. In other Institutes, the teachers focus only on completing the syllabus. But, in this Institute they focus on the growth of the students. Overall, my personal experience at this Institute is good....     The campus of college is not such big but it is of average size. The experience in the Institute till now is just ok. We have to hustle for 75% attendance in the college and write many assignments on daily basis. After that all we have is some friends from different corners of India and with them we make fun and do some activities. I chose this college because I have got a tuition fee welfare seat.     Overall this institute is not for someone who has an expectation of all fun and enjoyment in college, you can get good academics and opportunities, but they are really strict with their curriculum and management. This institute is well reputed in our city that is Bhopal and is also well recognised among some major companies.
