Overall Rating
It is one of the best private institutes currently in Kolkata. Students are pursuing various degrees making network with students. Teachers are nice and supportive. To obtain marks in internal is very easy, since it is an autonomous institute. Overall, a great institute to pursue your B.Tech.
 

Academics Rating
So you need to get a good rank to getting into this institute through counseling. I secured 4447 rank in WBJEE and I got IT. CSE cutoff goes even low. One can also come through JEE Main ranking. This institute offers all the CSE specialization courses along with core and non-core branches. There is a student exchange program too and you can apply from 2nd year onwards.
 

Faculty Rating
Teachers here are supportive and well behaved. They give marks with open hand. They teach well and have a very good educational background. They take surprise tests and evaluate internal based on it along with assignments, which you will need to submit at prescribed timings. Overall, the faculties will help you in every step during your 4 yrs in this institute.
 

Placement Rating
We have placement cell at our institute. Although, I am not aware of how much it helps but as per what I have heard from my seniors, the placement cell is quite helpful at certain terms.
 

Hostel Rating
This institute doesn’t provide hostel facilities to boys. For girls, there are hostels inside the campus only. Entry closes at around 8 PM. The food quality provided is good but quantity is the real concern here. Being in hostel, female students could access playgrounds and other sport facilities any time (even after institute hours).
 

Infrastructure Rating
In the campus of Heritage school and institute(s), there are fixed times and after that only we can access the sports facilities. There are multiple grounds and auditoriums as well. The library is huge comprising of numerous books of different genres. There is a digital library with more than 15 computers as well. Campus is well guarded with security personnel. CCTVs are everywhere. There is greenery all around with well-equipped drainage system.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, campus life is good. Networking with students of multiple fields of interests, well-learned crowd, and different clubs being active makes this institute favorable. Teacher’s day is celebrated in a grand manner. This institute also has an active NSS club, which organizes many social help sessions every week.

    I got this institute based on WBJEE counseling through my JEE Main rank which was around 1,00,000. If you are someone looking for a decent institute in Kolkata, you can prefer this one but if you can afford going to Bangalore or Noida side then consider going there.     So basically I study in Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata. Our institute is located in the east Kolkata side, in Anandapur, Ruby area. The campus area of our institute is very good.     If you didn't score well in your JEE or WBJEE, then you can choose this college. Maybe it’s the best private college in Kolkata. Placement here is decent and the faculty members are average.     Overall the Institute is beautiful. The location of Institute is perfect with good campus area. I would recommend people to join this Institute. If you don’t get Jadavpur then this Institute should be your second choice. It was a good decision to join this Institute. Here people of same intellect are found with whom you can vibe.
