Overall Rating
Rama Devi Women's University, Bhubaneswar is the best for girls. It has good faculty members. The campus is ragging free. All the events are organized by students themselves. The university has good infrastructure. The university also provides opportunities for placements and internships. Overall, I can say that it is one of the best universities in Orissa.
 

Academics Rating
This university offers many courses in different fields, such as Philosophy, Odia, Hindi, English, Political Science, Journalism and Mass Communication, Biotechnology, B.Ed, Economics, Zoology, Botany, Physics, Chemistry, Math, Home Science, Commerce, MBA, and Psychology. To be eligible for UG courses, you should have good score in class 12th boards. You can also pursue Master’s degree here. For PG you need to qualify CPET entrance exam conducted by the state government.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members here are from different states across India. The teachers are highly qualified in their respective subjects. They come from various reputed universities of India. The teaching method differs as per the faculty member. But overall, they teach in a good manner, students really understand well. The teachers also help students in their academic and personal problems as well. The bonding between students and teachers is really good.
 

Placement Rating
All departments of the university provide some sort of placements. Mostly, students choose to pursue higher studies then getting placed.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the university provides hostel facilities for girls in the campus itself. The university hostels are good and proper security measures are taken for the girls’ safety.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of Rama Devi Women's University, Bhubaneswar is good. The campus has many buildings and is lush green. Campus has a beautiful building for administration. Campus has 2 auditoriums and 1 library. All the classrooms are spacious and well maintained. There is an amphitheater where various events are organized. The campus is beautiful but not big area wise.
 

Campus Rating
The campus has good crowd. The university has many clubs like media club, music club, dance club, etc. In the university, many programs are held for the students. Various events are held on the weekly basis. Overall, I am having a good life here.

  • A woman college where you would never stop learning and growing

    I have completed my bachelor's degree from the first women's University of Odisha. I am not sugar-coating but this is the best and safest college for girls who come here from different regions of India. The campus's environment is very peaceful. The all-over fees structure is not that much costly. It is affordable for mediocre students.
