Overall Rating
Rama Devi Women's University is the first Women's University in the state of Odisha. It's is named after the famous freedom fighter Maa Rama Devi Choudhury. I am currently studying in B.Com 2nd year graduate. It's a good feeling to be a part of the university. I choose RDWU because it is a premium university for doing my graduation.
 

Academics Rating
To get admission in Ramadevi University, for B.Com minimum percentage to apply form is 45%, but cutoff is generally 80-85 % for general candidates. B.Com is of 3 years course with 6 semesters. Total 4 subjects are there which are alternately arranged. Each semester consists of two core papers. Ethics is the common subject in every semester.
 

Faculty Rating
In our department, 3 Permanent faculty are there. Along with many guest faculties who are changed periodically, and also various non teaching staffs. They are M.Com, M.Phil, Ph D, and MBA in study background. Generally we have gallery where professors teach us. There are projectors in the smart class room where we study.
 

Placement Rating
Placement is not very good for B.Com students.
 

Hostel Rating
Inside the college we have Arnapurna hostel for students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of RDWU is the best infrastructure among all the university. We have a separate administrative building for official purposes and admission process. We have 3 Academic buildings, 1 building for only library, one auditorium is there. Canteen is also present in the university. A big gallery and 3 rooms were allotted to each department.
 

Campus Rating
I have completed my 3 semester in the university. Till now it's a wonderful journey, and it's my best decision to take admission in Rama Devi Women's University. Various functions were organized in the university like Basant Utsav was held in our university in the month of February - March on occasion of celebration of Holi festival. Other functions like fare well, freshers, various awareness programme were also organised.

  • A woman college where you would never stop learning and growing

    I have completed my bachelor's degree from the first women's University of Odisha. I am not sugar-coating but this is the best and safest college for girls who come here from different regions of India. The campus's environment is very peaceful. The all-over fees structure is not that much costly. It is affordable for mediocre students.
