The Rama Devi Women’s University (RDWU), Bhubaneswar has advanced infrastructure & facilities and is surrounded with lush greenery. The campus of the University has 4 academic blocks and various other buildings to offer students a conducive learning environment. The campus of the Rama Devi Women’s University is spread across an area of around 23.626 acres with a built up area of approximately 65,779.05 square meters. The University has around 76 spacious regular classrooms and 20 digitally equipped classrooms with around 15 overhead and over 10 fixed projectors are available to support e-learning.
Moreover, the campus has an open-air theatre & around 2 auditoriums i.e., ‘Old Auditorium’ and another ‘Rama Devi Auditorium’ with a seating capacity of 300 and 1000 students, respectively. - Library: A central library named ‘Kunatal Kumari Library’ is situated in a 3-stories building at the University. The library has around 52,000 books, over 50 Indian journals, around 10 newspapers, and 15+ magazines. The library has a reference section and a ‘Sakuntala Panda Memorial Reading Room’ with 100+ seating capacity.
Moreover, there is an e-library, having around 9 computer systems. The digital library provides access to approximately 34,083 e-books, about 21,207 e-journals, and others. In addition, audio books for visually impaired individuals, journal section, thesis & report section, and reprographic section are present at the library.
- Laboratories: There is a dedicated e-learning or computer centre with around 80 systems with licensed software and open-source tools. Approximately 10 advanced labs and over 22 departmental labs for Life Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Psychology, Botany, etc. are available. Some of the departmental labs are Media lab, Business lab, Language lab, and others.
- Sports: The RDWU Bhubaneswar campus has infrastructure for both outdoor & indoor sports for the physical development of the students. The outdoor games facilities include around 2 Badminton Courts, Volleyball Court, Basketball Court, Kabaddi Ground, Kho-Kho Ground, and Hockey Ground. Moreover, indoor games facilities for Table Tennis, Chess, Carom, and Ludo are available at the campus.
- Hostel: There are 6 hostel complexes at the University campus which can collectively have a capacity of more than 1180 students. Several amenities are provided at the Rama Devi Women's University Hostels such as Wi-Fi, computers, water purifiers, TV, access to the library, newspapers, etc.
Furthermore, a mess facility is present at each of the six hostel buildings to serve students nutritious and delicious meals.
