National Institute of Technology is one of the most reputed Institute of India which offers various program like B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech, Ph.D, M.Sc, etc. It has NIRF ranking of 71 in year 2024. It is a government Institute which is run under the ministry of higher education. The admission process is done by JOSSA which is based on the marks obtains in JEE main examination. The facility and faculty which is provided by the administration is very good.

It offers various bachelors programs in engineering. The courses involve B.Tech in Mechanical, electrical, computer science, electronics, chemical, mettalury, mining, biotechnology, biomedical, etc. It also offers M.Tech and Ph.d program in which admission is done on the basis of GATE score and respective entrance exam. It also offers MCA whose admission is done on the basis of NIMCET score. If you want good career then I would suggest you that you must join NIT Raipur. It also offers campus placement in which last year almost 90% of the students got placed from the various departments.

All the faculties are good and well qualified even few of them are in list of world top 2% of researcher. All the faculties are supportive in nature and they are totally focused on the thing that how they can help their students to make their career. They also provide personal attention to needful students. They also motivate and guide us as per need. Most of the faculties have 10+ years of teaching experiences with in-depth knowledge. Most of the faculties have done their higher education from IIT and foreign Institutions.

Yes our Institute has its own placement cell. The cell helps students to grab better opportunities based on their caliber. Last year our Institute had placement rate of approximately 90% in bachelor programs of different branches. Placement cell also helps to them to grab internship opportunities.

Yes our Institute also provides residential facilities to the students but not to all. The allotment of the hostel is based on the score achieved by the students in their last semester. For first year students it is based on the JEE main rank and for the 2nd years onwards it is based on their academic performance. They provide a single room of approximately 15*15 in dimension with sharing between 2 or 3 people which depends on the situation. The quality of food offered is average. The mess is run by the students themselves.

Since it was a regional Institute of engineering initially and it is converted into NIT. So infrastructure is not too good but it is good as compared to other engineering Institutes. We have a single academic block which is too big and all the departments are run under in this building of engineering. The department include B.Tech, Mtech, Ph.D, M.Sc, etc. These are run under it but we have a separate academic building for Architecture department. Our Institute also provides facility of library which is fully air conditioned and maintained.

Campus life at NIT Raipur is average. There are lots of clubs and committees in the Institute. You can join any of the committees and showcase your skills. Some few of the famous committees of NIT Raipur is RAGA which is a musical club, Sanskriti which organizes cultural festival, technocracy which organizes technical fest called Avartan. Team Shaurya which organizes sports fest in the Institute and so on. There are almost 25 clubs and committees in the Institute. Whenever any event happens in Institute, lots of people gathers to watch it because our Institute is located in the mid of Raipur city.
