My Views on Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, RGIPT

Overall Rating
I can say that this institute is a good institute where you can grow and get your desired job if you work hard. My friend recommended this institute because he studied from this institute and got a good job. This institute has a NIRF rank of about 78.
 

Academics Rating
There are multiple courses here like B.Tech, MBA, Ph.D, B.Tech + M.Tech, etc. Entry requirements and eligibility is passing JEE Advanced. After clearing my JEE Advanced I applied for Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology and by waiting list I get the Computer Science and Design Branch. My motive for enrolling in this program is to do my B.Tech degree and get a good job.
 

Faculty Rating
Some faculty members are good for a student perspective and some are not. The teaching styles of the teachers here not that interesting. I would say the overall faculty here is average.
 

Placement Rating
We do have a placement cell that is working hard for us to get a good job but because of our background as a petroleum institute we are having a hard time to get good job opportunities.
 

Hostel Rating
the hostel is in a great condition. It is clean, each floor has its own washing machines that is I think a very big advantage. There are clean bathrooms. We have an A-Z shop at our ground floor also where we can buy what we want. In our rooms we have 2 almirah, 2 beds, 2 tables, etc. The overall facilities of the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology’s hostels are good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure here is goo. There are small gardens where we can relax, there is a big auditorium where we have classes and if by permission we also have movies sessions. there are large lecture rooms where we study. Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology also has facilities for playing cricket and football.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life here is good. We have a lot of festivals here that we participate in. There are intra sport activities as well. I have also participated in a lot of sports like badminton, cricket, long jump, high jump, basketball, etc. Several events and fests are also organised at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology. I would say that the overall campus life of the institute is good according to me.

    As a student of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT), my experience has been amazing. This institute has more exposure in the energy sector and more number of students joins here in Chemical and Petroleum branch as a first priority.   • Admission at RGIPT Amethi for B.Tech: Entrance Exams and Fees
     

    Overall Rating
    The institute is good. All the students are JEE Main and JEE Advanced qualified. The faculty is well educated. The campus is also beautiful. You will see the majestic statute of Vivekananda at our campus. The campus is situated a little far from Lucknow and near to the Raebareli.     Overall Rating
    The Institute is good for two core branches that are Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Engineering. Tech branches are new here. The major factor for choosing this institute is it is an institute of National importance and its NIRF is 80 this year. The highest placement of petroleum branch is 25 LPA this year in ONGC of one student only. While, two students of tech branch got placed in phone pay.
