College Life in HPNLU Shimla

Overall Rating
Campus of Himachal Pradesh National Law University is beautiful and very good for study. You will feel close to that nature that makes you calm and concentrate on your studies. Overall, it will transition you for better and help you to achieve your future goals. Although this university not old but still improving day-to-day basis.
 

Academics Rating
This university is very good for academics. Eligibility criteria for getting there is to clear the merit of CLAT examination. It includes assignment, presentation, mid-term semester exams, and final exams. It sounds pressurized but it will be worth it in the end.
Fee includes academic, examination, fee per semester. For some students, scholarship is provided.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is mostly good and experienced in his/her own specialized subjects. In addition, the methods of teaching are very organic and digital. They will improve your academic research and if you are facing any difficulty in understanding the concepts of particular topic, you can easily approach teacher for reference.
 

Placement Rating
HPNLU do have placement cell for undergraduate students. Good salary packages are offered during the drive.
 

Hostel Rating
Campus hostel is good. The in time differs for summers and winters.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Development of HPNLU infrastructure is at the initial stage but still it is good for everyone. It has everything. Campus size is quite big having facilities including medical ambulance, canteen, sports department, and others.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is better and interesting. You will learn new skills. The crowd is good. You will get to meet interact people of different cultures having their different point of views. Events include Holi party, annual function, fresher party, etc. competitions such as well Rangoli competition is also there. Many other programs like Nukkad Natak, cultural programs are also held regularly. People with disability have their own society named as CSD centre, where awareness regarding disability rights and other benefits are disseminated.

    I am first year Law student at Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla. At this University, things are very good till now teachers are great, infrastructure is also good. Hostel facility are also provided. As a Law student there is very hectic schedule like first assignment than mid semester exams and then presentation followed by end semester exams comprising all 100 marks.     I chose this University, as I was passionate about pursuing my career in Law background and advocating for people rights. There are many events in this university and the university is well connected by the roads, as it is located in the Shimla Mandi Highway one can reach. Hence, students can directly reach bus or by any private vehicle. There are many eateries and restaurants nearby, along with the beautiful foothills of Himalayas.... Read Full Review

    As a first year student, it has been an exhilarating experience so far. The daily walks here seem like short and peaceful treks that provide a sense of calmness all over. The faculty is impeccable and covers each topic for each session in a holistic manner, which further enables us to go and further study well in the library There is no ragging culture either which makes for a safe and comfortable environment for the students....
