Jaipur National University is one of the best private universities located in the capital of Rajasthan. This university is verified by regulatory bodies such as UGC, AICTE, NCTE, BCI, and PCI and so on and it has helped me thoroughly set my career benchmarks. I choose this university as of its wide range of services and programs that it offers to its students. The university also provides a good range of opportunities and the participating recruiters provide high scopes for academic excellence and opportunities to the students of the universities.

For graduation, I choose Bachelors of Pharmacy as I had keen interest in learning about human body and mechanism taking place in the human body. With this, I wanted to learn about the drug interaction that helps the body to recover from any disease or health issues. My motive for enrolling in the same was to gain insights of the drug and its mechanism in the body and also I was looking forward to seek position of Drug Inspector. The admission process for this university is multi-step and it involves merit, entrance examinations and at last a personal interview with the student. The department takes examination after each six months. The academics helped me with thorough insights on any given subject and topics through digital tools such as projectors for clear understanding and insights and I was also aided by faculties in any unusual circumstances.

The fees of this University are was quite reasonable, it was Rs. 75000 per year. As the tuition fees were low and quite reasonable, the fees including the tuition, admission and registration fees were also quite reasonable for me. I remember, I was not offered with any sort of offers or discounts in fees or any other students around me. Yeah they provide scholarships aid and not any financial aid for the students.

The faculties of my department were compassionate and they were ready to help us anytime we needed them. The faculties had broad insights concerning their subjects and they also hold good knowledge and experience in their fields. I genuinely appreciate such faculties who taught me and heard me in times of need. The faculties hold proficient degrees in their respective subjects and their method of teaching differed from each other. Tools such as projectors and sessions on topics through group discussions had helped me gain good amount of insights into my subjects. The teacher-student ratio at the university was quite balanced. I had great bond with each faculty and they had guided me throughout my academics.

The placement cell of Jaipur National University is located nearby the admission cell that is obligated to offer job opportunities to their students for each different department. The placement cell is responsible for informing the students about the upcoming recruiters at the university and allows them time for preparation accordingly to the organization’s job profile and responsibility. The recruiters also used to come prior to the day of recruitment to provide insights about their organisation. The university conducted programs in each respective department providing insights about the recruitment process and further information about the offered package by the recruiters. My placement experience was an easy go process where I was hired by an organisation.

Yes, the Jaipur National University provides hostel facilities to its students. I resided in Pinaka hostel of the SADTM campus of the university and it was a three storeyed building. There were around 500 students in my hostel and the rooms have got beds, cupboards, a table and a chair. Ducting was also provided in the hostel room. The university provides separate girls and boys hostel at different campuses. Unfortunately, I did not find food healthy for me, it also did not satisfy me with its hygiene. The mess was always noisy that I was not comfortable with. Hostel fees were also reasonable and rules were strict. Hostel gates were open till 8pm. I stayed there for about a year and then left due to its food quality.

The infrastructure of the university looks like a fort as it is made up of stones and painted in red. Overall, it gives a vintage vibe but then I started fascinating its infrastructure. The campus has big academic blocks, libraries and refreshment areas. I did not find the campus area that familiar for me as the classrooms were average. It lacked infrastructure from inside and seating capacity was sometimes a little uncomfortable in some classrooms. I did not find any well formed aid services from the university's end. There was a big lawn at the centre of the campus where I liked to spend time with my friends. The hostel was close to my department that helped me to reach early and on to my classroom saving my time and transport expenses.

The campus has a big crowd of students and it has auditoriums for functions and other college programs. Jaipur National University used to conduct different programs and fests so that students can also make their balance with the social life with academics. Events helped the students to revive their energy and take their further steps with positive enthusiasm and one of the yearly fest called Technorazz was a thrilling fest of all the time, taking toll to different types of activities, competitions, stage shows and many more. Overall, I had a great college life with both highs and lows.
