My Thoughts on Dr. S & S.S. Ghandhy Government Engineering College is under Gujarat technological University

Overall Rating
Dr. S & S.S. Ghandhy Government Engineering College is one of the best colleges in Gujarat. It ranks 2nd in terms of Govt Colleges in Gujarat and first rank is of LD College of Engineering. Every student studying in Std. 12th or Diploma Engineering in Gujarat once have a dream to get into LD college of engineering. However, as the merit goes high, this is second best option. Dr. S & S.S. Ghandhy Government Engineering College is under Gujarat technological University
 

Academics Rating
As far as we consider that textbook knowledge is not the real world knowledge, and that is 100% truth. Therefore, in this case scenario, the college helped a lot and took initiatives for students to arrange industrial visits to Thermal Power Plant at Wanakbori, Gujarat and Nuclear Power Plant - Kakrapar in Gujarat. Also with the support from government of Gujarat, the students were given free 15 days training at International Centre of Automobile Excellence in various technologies like Welding, EV technology, Smart manufacturing, 3D CAD Design, CAM, CNC, and VMC Machines, etc. Therefore, this is very amazing thing.
Dr. S & S.S. Ghandhy Government Engineering College had a fee structure same as Government Engineering Colleges of Gujarat. It ranged from Rs. 1,800 to Rs.2,500 per year depending upon the semesters. The fee is to be paid on a semester basis (after completion of each semester).
 

Faculty Rating
The well-qualified facilities are teaching in each department of the college. the teachers holding PhD masters from NITs and IITs are guiding students a lot and igniting spark of knowledge professors are experienced and knowledgeable balancing theoretical with some practical knowledge which is very popular in Gujarat overall the faculty contribute significantly to the college reputation for quality education
 

Placement Rating
Dr. S & S.S. Ghandhy Government Engineering College had a fee structure same as Government Engineering Colleges of Gujarat. It ranged from Rs. 1,800 to Rs.2,500 per year depending upon the semesters. The fee is to be paid on a semester basis (after completion of each semester).
 

Hostel Rating
No nightlife I had celebrated as I always used to go back home after completing my college. But my friends who stayed in the hostel always used to travel around as there are lots and lots of cafeterias, restaurants nearby to celebrate some small events such as if someone clears backlog, passes exam with good grades, etc. Hostel has strict timings and if anyone is out of hostel one has to return by 8:30 PM anyhow or they may call parents / guardians of students coming late.

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is very good. It has an auditorium, sports area, play area, hostel, blocks of every individuals Character college Campus, Teachers, Technical Facilities and The faculties supporting the students in every aspect. In short, it is the best college in Surat The college has decent infrastructure, including well-equipped laboratories and a library college lab have all type of instruments for need. Computer lab have enough computers
 

Campus Rating
College offers a vibrant campus life with a focus on academics and extracurricular activities. The college boasts experienced faculty, well-equipped lab and a good placement record. Students actively participate in technical fests cultural events, and sports competitions. The college also encourages social responsibility through various initiatives Overall, it provides a conducive environment for holistic development.
