The education offered at this college is very affordable for everyone. All the faculties are class 2 and class 1 officer either retired from GPSC or any reputed organizations. It has all kinds of machines for various experiments, some of which you cannot even find in Gujarat.

It is the case of GEC Surat, which started operating in 2004, has a well-regarded emphasis on technology and research. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering disciplines. With a qualified faculty, modern infrastructure, and industrial linkages to its credit, GEC Surat facilitates an environment for academic pursuit of excellence. The curriculum is responsive to industry’s needs at any given time. Hence it is frequently updated to match with emerging technologies and practices.

Student success at GEC Surat is highly dependent on the well-trained teaching staff. The Faculty consists of qualified professors and researchers, who bring a mix of academic rigor and practical knowledge to the classroom. All in all, the living standard of the hostel is reasonable, yet there should be improvements in maintenance and the provision of the qualified facilities to ensure student’s more comfortable living condition.

The physical structures at GEC Surat, unlike those at IIT Mumbai, occupy a somewhat larger area but are comparatively older. Nonetheless, the functionality of the structures at GEC Surat is not an issue of concern because most of the structures are well-maintained. For the academics of the students, there are well designed classrooms, large laboratories and a library which fulfills the entire requirement. Whereas some buildings exhibit signs of aging, they are quite sturdy, and provide the necessary service without any complaints.

Therefore, life in GEC Surat is fully fledged with academics as well as co-curricular activities. The students participate in a variety of societies, technical associations, and cultural activities and shows that makes them to feel at home and develop talents within them. This college has periodic fests, workshops, competitions, all of which help in presenting the extracurricular activities of the students. Nevertheless, much stress is put on academics. It guarantees an active social life and opportunities for students to develop their social skills that make student life stimulating and fruitful.
