No nightlife I had celebrated as I always used to go back home after completing my college. But my friends who stayed in the hostel always used to travel around as there are lots and lots of cafeterias, restaurants nearby to celebrate some small events such as if someone clears backlog, passes exam with good grades, etc. Hostel has strict timings and if anyone is out of hostel one has to return by 8:30 PM anyhow or they may call parents / guardians of students coming late.

The hostels at GEC Surat seem to be budgetary with fundamental facilities to accommodate the scholars. Beds are often bunk beds, and the students share most of the facilities such as communal mess hall, internet connection, and washing facilities. Most students are of the opinion that the hostel environment aids in concentration on books and other related academic materials. Nonetheless, some of them hold the view that the infrastructural development should be updated to modern standards. The college location helps one to access class facilities and other essentials within the precincts of the learning institutions. All in all, the living standard of the hostel is reasonable, yet there should be improvements in maintenance and the provision of the qualified facilities to ensure student’s more comfortable living condition.Read Full Review
