Overall Rating
Dr. S & S.S. Ghandhy Government Engineering College Surat is good as per the fees charged from the students. The faculty members are good; they always help and support students. The College offers a great experience in terms of academics and other aspects. I have had a great experience so far at the College and would also recommend others to join it.
 

Academics Rating
The learning environment at the College is indeed great. I am studying B.E from this College. There is a lot of scope in this field and that is why I chose this course. Admission generally takes place through your rank in GUJCET. Students after appearing for the exam have to go for ACPC counselling process (State-level). There are 3 to 4 rounds of admissions. There are two exams in one semester so there are a total of 4 exams annually.
The tuition fee charged by the College is around Rs. 1500/- per year, and the other charges charged by the College are around Rs. 2000/-. This fee is inclusive of charges for gymkhana, library, etc.
 

Faculty Rating
There are some great faculties in the College who are helpful to the students. They are good in nature. Every faculty member at the College is quite knowledgeable. They are good at the teaching their respective subjects. Most of faculties are from Gujarat. There is an average of around 75 students in each class and there are 3 faculty members for each subject.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are available.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of Dr. S & S.S. Ghandhy Government Engineering College Surat is good and the building has been renovated only a few years ago. So, the infrastructure is so good. We have spacious and well-maintained classrooms. There also a library which has many resources. There are also some seminar halls available in the College. Canteen, sports ground and security are also made available for students studying in the College. Campus is big and is surrounded by greenery.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good. There are many activities that happen in the College each semester like the Tech fest. Also, engagement activities including games are also held in the premises of the College. There is one annual fest too which adds life to the overall campus life experience of students. Other festivals are also celebrated in the College like Ganesh Chaturthi, Janmashtmi, Navratri, etc.
