ITER offers many engineering branches among which CSE branch thrives the best with dedicated specializations in AIML, IOT, Cyber Security, and Data Science. Admission here is taken through JEE (Mains) and SAAT (University's entrance examination). For CSE the percentage benchmark is a minimum 60% in 10th and 12th. A typical academic semester comprises of 4-5 months of regular classes and 1-2 months of leave after the end-semester exams. The academics are up to mark with the modern technology requirements for e.g. from the very first semester programming courses are covered in detail and great emphasis is given to practical problem solving and lab classes.

For 2025 batch the fee structure for CSE(Specialization) is Rs. 1,52,500 per semester, CSE(core) it is Rs. 1,42,500 per semester, ECE it is Rs. 1,27,500 and for Core branches: Rs. 1,12,500 per semester. Institute also offers a scholarship of Rs. 35,000 per year to students who have a minimum overall of 80% in 10th and 12th and maintain a CGPA of 8.0 and above throughout the B.Tech course.

ITER has a very premium placement cell, the placement percentage here is above 90% and the average package goes around 8-9 LPA the highest package for 2024 pass outs was 42 LPA. The institute also conducts dedicated placement training sessions comprising of technical, aptitude and soft skill training before the placement season in the third year.

Hostels here are pretty old and the mess isn't so good as well.

Nice sports facilities as well, each year a sports meet named as SOA cup is organized where all the institutes under the SOA university take part in every sports event.
