DSCE Bangalore Fee Structure Explained

Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering has very good environment and ambience and it is always clean and nearly 10K+ students walk in daily to the institute. I personally love the college because it gives me positive vibes. Factors which made me choose this college is that it is in top 5 institutes in the whole state and is a recognized college in Bangalore and offers good placements to the students. The difference in this college I find than other college is management works efficiently and there is facility team which keeps the college clean.

I have chosen Computer Science and Business Systems in this college where it is the integrated course. It teaches both technical and non technical skills which is much more informative. My motive to choose this course is that, at the end of this course I will be able to gain both the technical skills and non technical skills which makes me stand out from others. Entry can be done through various methods like management seats, COMEDK, and CET (for Karnataka students). Eligibility criteria are the minimum percentage in the 12th class. There will be 8 semesters in this course where in each semester there will be 3 internals, 1 external exam and lab exams. Academics preparation is quite lagging so it may not help us to implement completely in real-life scenarios. The topics are quite old and not many things can help in real-life.

The fees vary depending upon type of seat for COMEDK students per year it would be around Rs. 2, 00,000 and exam fees of Rs. 5500 per year. The fees details are as follows tuition fees is about Rs. 80,000 – Rs. 95,000 where as admission fees of around Rs. 20,000 – Rs. 25,000 and others will be also added. Discounts will not be provided based on any category. No scholarships will be provided by college and no help will be provided from the college and no financial aid is available for students.

The faculty members at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering for our course are well-versed in their domain and have completed their doctorate degrees. They have good knowledge about the subject and they have good experience about their subjects and many years of teaching experience. Their methods in teaching are they use PPTs where they cover all the important topics and also they conduct group discussions to enhance the knowledge of the students. The faculties have good problem solving abilities like if we get stuck up in lab they will help us to resolve our problem. the teacher-student ratio would be around 8:10 where college is trying to accommodate more teachers with their expertise.

The Placements cell at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering is much disciplined and does not tolerate any type of bad actions and need to follow the placements guidelines and they offer good placements and bring nice companies to the college. Yes, our college has its own placements cell it conducts placement training for the students and offers internship program, provides workshop, guides towards the path and road map for the placements. Placement cell perform various activities in college it provides service now training where it is costlier but it is provided to the students free of cost which would grab the attention of the companies. The recruiters offers good amount of packages to the students such that the average package of the college is around 7 lakh per annum and the highest package is 1.05 crore and most of the students get placed through the college. I had very good experience and i am much more pleased and blessed to have such placement cell.

Yeah, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering has its own hostels where it has NRI as well as Indian hostel where the non residence from India can stay in NRI and the students from India can stay in Indian hostel. There are nearly five hundred to thousand rooms in the hostels and two students will share the same room where as the college provides good facilities, but many of the students are not satisfied with the hostel late night timings. Yeah girls and boys hostels are separate. Many of the students think the mess food is average and some of them love it and the quality is up to the mark and food is offered 3 times per day and snacks are also provided on time. The hostel is costlier compared to all other hostels in Bangalore such that for male students it is around Rs. 2,25,000 per year and for female students it is up to Rs. 1,85,000 per year. Hostel doesn't have much strict rules; the warden is lenient and can easily handle the situations. Timings are till 10 in the night and students are not allowed to enter the hostel after this. I find hostel is very good place because we can build connection easily and the people around the room are much pleasing and I also love the food here.

There are nearly 30 buildings in Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering from the oldest building to the newest. There are different blocks for the each and every department and they have amazing infrastructure and they have good ambience. Campus is wide spread about 30 KM and fully covered with students in each blocks. It is situated in the top area of the city and offer good vibes. The classrooms are efficient and offer good seating arrangement for the students and have smart teaching facilities for the students and digital classrooms. Our college has library facility and also has digital library where students can have hands on experience with the subjects. It also has labs where it has PC and equipment which are necessary for the lab experiments and it has many seminar halls where frequently the events would be conducted in the college. It also has auditoriums which have seating capacity of about 2K students at a time. The college has canteen where they offer good quality of Indian style food with nice taste, it also has food truck which offers western food and which fulfills the stomach and quality of food is good. For medical purposes college has its own hospital. Security in college is very strict; they have their own security where the security officers are well trained. My favorite part of the college is parking lot where I and my friends relax and it has seating arrangements and good shelter to sit. The facilities provided by Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering are good and seems to be interesting. It is much more to me and I have very good academic experience here.

The overall campus life at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering is awesome and marvelous I enjoy the campus most if I feel low anytime I just roam around the campus and make myself comfortable. The college crowd is huge nearly the college intakes 1 lakh students per year from the entire domain and is crowded all of the time. There is a Club called as CPA. The college has each and every club. There are around 24 clubs and sub clubs in the college, all are monitored by CPA center for performing arts. The college will keep on conducting activities and events throughout the year and always keep the students involved in the events. The college conducts 2 grand fests every year that are Furore and Vibrations. The major events in the college which would also involve cultural evening and DJ nights. My experience in the campus is very nice I have spent my happiest moments of my life at the campus where I made a lot of friends. Overall I enjoyed the campus life at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering.
