Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering Reviews on Placement, Faculty, Hostel by Students

The overall experience at DSCE Bangalore has been a great. The infrastructure is very good and has been well maintained. The campus is filled with trees and plants, making it a pleasant environment for students. It also has very good sports facilities like a football ground, tennis court, basketball court, etc. The reason I chose this college is because of the means of transport i.e. metro. Not many colleges have the facility of metro. In general, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering is quite good. It has a good campus area, while being situated in the main city of Bangalore. Good Infrastructure, facilities and good academics structure is provided. The college is just 10 km far from the main railway station of the city i.e. KSR (SBC) so there is no issue regarding connectivity. The facilities provided in the campus include two auditoriums available in DSCE with PC Sagar Auditorium being the main Auditorium where large scale events are hosted and the CS Sagar Auditorium where small events, seminars, group activities are hosted. It has a large 4 storied library with a good number of books and e-resources. These resources are available through multiple collaborations and it's a free service. (You need to pay 2000 rupees as a security deposit and it is refundable whenever you want to cancel your library membership). There are good number of stalls in the campus such as the food courts (in total 3), a printing shop (offers cheap prices), a large parking area, a small pond and an open air amphitheater. For sports DSCE has a basketball court, tennis court and a football court which also serves the purpose of a track. It also has a gym. The campus is also quite clean and green. As in for the faculties, they are good and supportive. Each of the faculty members is well qualified. There teaching method is good and understandable.Read Full Review

Overall, I would say my college is pretty good in terms of placements and college life but you have to manage a bit in terms of fee expenses. if you can afford, you can go with it. Major reason for choosing DSCE over other college is that it’s provides us with pretty good exposure and job opportunities.Read Full Review
