Review of SRM by Uday

Overall Rating
The overall review is good. I joined through SRMJEE entrance exam. The fee of SRM is moderate. In my perspective this is a better college for students who come to this via EAMCET. The faculty are friendly and experienced. The college conducts many cultural programs every year. The college has high security. I live in the hostel. It has 24/7 Wi-Fi and AC in hostels.
 

Academics Rating
The academics was excellent. I am having 4 subjects for 1st sem maths, physics, C language and aptitude. This academic also includes English speaking skills and listening skills. Which helps us reduce stage fear and gives more confidence when attending an interview. The course includes emerging technologies such as Quantum Computing, Internet of Things, and Drone Technology etc. this college has a research block where we can research on our projects. The college provides some money for your projects.
Since I have joined this via SRMJEE entrance exam, the fee structure is for CSE is 3.60 lakhs.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty in this college is very experienced. The faculty are from other state but they teach us in proper way. They teach us with examples until we understand the topic. Some faculties have worked in IIIT's and IIT's. They share ideas and motivate us so that we can get good placements. They teach us various concepts in-depth so that we can tackle every question easily. There are many faculty members of the same subject in SRM.
 

Placement Rating
As I am studying in first year. I don't have much knowledge about placement. Some of my seniors are placed in TCS company and many others. The average salary of each person is Rs. 5.00 to 8.00 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes , I am staying in the hostel. The room I had booked is triple sharing. The room is quite comfortable. Students have their own study table which feels comfortable. The maintenance staff works regularly which helps us to keep our room clean. Our hostel has a dining area where we can have our breakfast, lunch and dinner.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The SRM AP campus is spread in 200 acres. It is an eco-friendly campus. The Ganga hostel itself is of 26 floors. The library is located on CV Raman block on the 12th floor. It has many books on each subject and topic and we can borrow the books to study. SRM also has an auditorium with a seating capacity of 1200 to 1500 members. It also has many sports club such as cricket, volleyball, football and many more. My favorite place in SRM is the cafeteria near CV Raman block.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is good. SRM university has many areas where students can sit. There is some crowd in the college. There are many clubs like dancing, singing, e-Sports which one can join. I have joined free fire and BGMI game clubs. The college conducts many cultural activities in which we can enjoy a lot. The biggest fest of SRM is “Infinitus”. The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is also held. My experience that college is good at all activities.

    My experience was very good in the campus and the faculty is very friendly towards students. The ground was superb and the hostel rooms are very good with 24/7 AC and Wi-Fi services. Hot water was also available there. Good placements are provided to the students in this college as compared to other colleges in AP. The college’s each block has a canteen.     Overall SRM University is really a great place to pursue your higher studies. The hostel facilities are very good here.     It is a good experience. I am in my 1st year of B.Tech CSE. I got a good rank in AP EAPCET exam so it became easy to select this college be a student here.
