Oriental University Indore: Fees, Placement, and Infrastructure

The university is overall good & the fee is pretty less as compared to other nearby colleges and universities. I must say that we are provided with good academic facilities. Percentage based scholarship is also awarded to the students here.

The general eligibility criteria for taking admission in the BCA course of this university is that you should have secured at least 50% marks in 12th class. The admission procedure is available online or else you can call on the provided number. Students who are from the reserved categories can avail the reservation benefits during admission wherein they get fee relaxation based on their percentage in 12th standard. The exams are not too difficult nor too easy.

The complete cost of my 3-year graduation is around Rs. 1,30,000/- & semester-wise it’s around Rs. 22,500/-.

The faculty members are good. Almost all the teachers are understanding and supportive. They guide us & solve our problems throughout the year. The faculties try their best to give us more knowledge. Their teaching methods include both through board and PPT. The PPTs are sent to us after the classes for revision.

Internship & other placement activities are regularly conducted here. I don’t know much about the projects & its outcomes. Companies like Infosys, Tata Consultancy, ICICI Bank, Infotech, etc. have hired students from the university and majority of them have been hired for the HR roles.

Yes, hostel facilities are available for the students, but it is a bit expensive. I don’t live in the hostel, so I don’t have much information to add.

Campus has a huge infrastructure. You can freely walk around here & there are many facilities to spend leisure time with friends. The buildings of the campus are new & well maintained. There are huge classrooms, library, labs, seminar halls, auditorium, conference halls, etc. that are very clean. There is a canteen in the campus too. Medical transport services and camera are available to ensure our safety & security. There are gardens in between the buildings that give a serene look. All types of books are available in the library and if you want any specific book then you can request at the library desk, and they will arrange it. The classrooms are equipped with a projector.

Our university’s fest is called Athrav, and some Technical Fests are also held in between semesters. Various sports facilities are also offered in the campus and other curricular activities such as rangoli making, dance, chess competition, badminton contests, etc. are frequently organized.
