Unique BFIA Finance Course at SRCASW Delhi

My overall experience at SRCASW New Delhi was great. Various factors made me pick this college over other biggest ones. One of being the fact that I wanted to join BFIA (Finance) which is there in just two colleges all over India. Secondly, Rajguru has the best and an excellent library of its own which renowned in the entire DU Circuit. All the faculty members are mostly PhD holders and are very firm with the knowledge about their respective subjects. Not to mention, the campus might be smaller in area but is very beautiful and well maintained. In addition, the college has its own hostel inside the campus.

I did my Under Graduation in Finance. The degree is called BBA (BFIA). I was always inclined towards learning more about the Finance World and hence the course. To qualify for entrance, one is mandatorily required to have studied Mathematics in class 12th with 50% marks for Commerce students. The admission process begins after deciding to join the college. There will be a document verification following which you can pay the admission fees and later submit the copies of original documents later when you join on campus. The exams are conducted semester wise (both written and practical). The course is designed widely and helps you get insights about financial aspects of real world.

Tuition fee per year is around Rs. 32,000 for Indian students. Other than that, there's an examination fee that's supposed to be paid in every semester (separately) which is approximately around Rs.1,000 or so. There are various scholarships given by college along with concessional fees for category students.

The faculties in SRCASW New Delhi are very well trained and knowledgeable having a promising academic background and are also very tech friendly. They use various teaching methods like on whiteboards, smart boards, PowerPoint presentations, and case study scenarios. The teacher to student ratio is appropriate as per the requirement with teachers holding expertise in their respective fields. The faculty members are extremely cooperative, encouraging, and friendly, which makes it extremely easy to approach them in case of any kind of inconveniences even if it is not, related academics.

The placement cell of the college is super active but given the fact that it's a Science college, it is difficult to fetch big companies and MNC's. however, the college conducts on-campus recruitment every year with top companies like Wipro, TCS, HCL, Decathlon, Nestle, etc.

The girl’s hostel is inside the campus with a very good security system and follows a strict curfew. The rooms are mostly double sharing. However, triple sharing rooms are also available. There is one washroom for every two rooms. The cleaning happens every day. The hostel food is average. The fee per year is around about Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 90,000. It doesn't provide bedding.

The college’s campus is very beautiful and wide in area. It has a huge playground. The college building has an academic block, admin block, an amphitheater, and a foyer in the middle. The college has an inbuilt GYM, a parking area, a cafeteria, an auditorium, a conference hall, and the best and most recognized library in the entire university. The college has various societies and clubs which has their own separate rooms. The college has staff rooms and every department has their own department rooms as well. The classrooms and the seminar rooms are big enough to accommodate a good number of 50 to 60 students.

The overall campus life was good and very happening during the fest seasons and festivals especially. The crowd is very diverse with people from across states and even students from cross borders. During my college time, I was a part of the finance society, ‘Raqam’. the college has various other clubs and society for every interest, hobbies and expertise and everyone gets a fair chance to be a part of these societies and clubs. A few of them would ‘Aharya’: the dance society, ‘Filyra’: the music society, and there's also a fashion and art society along with many others.
