One thing certain about IPER is it’s not a buck roger

Not too many things that go in one’s head when they join Institute of Professional Education and Research Bhopal. One has to come to the college daily irrespective of whether lectures are there or not. For lay people to understand that difficulty level at IPER is high so join only if you are capable. Well, IPER feels they are Olympics so they will follow their rules and therefore on a scale of 10 the difficulty level there is 10.1. Studies are one thing but management has added so many things in the schedule that no matter what students have to compliance with that. So, lots of answers for the management but a lot of questions for the students is how things works at IPER.
If you have plans for MBA then they should take admissions here because the bridge between both the courses is such that many students fail to handle that pressure there. At IPER though, they are certain and therefore they have kept the difficulty level as high as MBA. Semester breaks are small exams are held twice every semester and apart from that too we have one more exams which is a sort of practice exam and even though those marks are not considered students have to be at their absolute best in that as well. No end of the road for students because even after the portions are completed and projects are submitted something will still be left in the kitchen. So, difficulty level sky high but sky is not at all grey here in terms of academics. What all we learned here was as per the industry demands. From banking to every micro possible thing related to business is what we were taught here.
Well, I have talked about the difficulty level but who has made it difficult? Well, it’s the faculties who don’t care but to get the most out of it. Well, there are always two sides of a coin so on one hand some exceptional and amazing faculties while some not so good. However, all of them were highly qualified and in each department, we had one fantastic faculty who can be called exceptional. Due-diligence was provided in learning by all the faculties. So, a big thumbs up for most of them as even though they made our lives harder there were very supportive in all aspects.
The glass was half empty for one and half full for one. In short, IPER placements were 50-50 here. Many banks and other corporate houses have joined hands with IPER for placements. The placements started during the final semester and in a month or so they were done too. I thought, there will be another drive too but unfortunately that didn’t happen as it was done and dusted soon. I was left with galls half empty and even if I had the placements, I don’t think I would have done it because most of us made a pact that we will be doing higher studies.
IPER is one of those rare universities who said what’s the point in having a hostel when most students are from Bhopal only. Well, the college is aggressive with their approach in every other aspect but in this regard their thinking is regressive. There were quite a few outsiders in the college but had to depend on outside facilities which are great in Bhopal as one gets all kind of PGs that they want. The food of Bhopal is world famous and not that expensive too. So, options are plenty but a hostel is still a hostel.
IPER campus is of decent size as there are various facilities at the college. The campus is good and the building is majestic. Air-conditioned classrooms, and library fully stocked with books. Just outside the main block there’s a garden and few gym equipment’s installed in that garden or ground one can call it whatever they want. The open amphitheatre was small and so was the cafeteria. However, I still remember ours was a group of 10 people and we all 10 managed our food in that one table which was meant for four. We did so because it was almost full in the evening.
IPER offers a great campus life because the students here are seen with a vision in their eyes. However, some steep rules did make our college life hell but when you have good people around in friends and faculties one can manage their way out. Events for UG colleges never ended as soon as one ended, we knew the dates of the upcoming events. Every February there was a sports carnival and in March the annual fest Spiritz was organized.

If Dehradun is called the quaint town of east then Bhopal is definitely the quaint town of central India. The college and universities like LNCT, MNIT, RKDF University, Rabindranath Tagore University, and Technocrats Group of Institutions among others have made Bhopal one of the best cities to pursue education. However, most of these universities and colleges are good in medical or engineering studies. IPER Bhopal is arguably the best institute for commerce students to pursue B.Com or BBA. They ... If one needs quality education in Bhopal then, there’s no better place than IPER. Some ruckuses are there like the director of the Institute feels like IPER is as good as IIMs, but for that they will have to build an Institute like that and also has the students of the same quality. So, if I leave out the strictness part, IPER Bhopal is great. Once you enter the College means you have to stay there till 5 pm. You can’t leave the College in between and that was the worst part. There were time... Read Full Review
