My Personal Outlook on MVSR Engineering College

Overall Rating
MVSR Engineering College is very good. Lecturers give extra knowledge. If you want career guidance, there are many available to guide students. Before joining, I do not have any impression on the college but now I can conclude that it is a decent college. Inside the college, students have complete freedom compared to other colleges. Few colleges restrict students from leaving the campus in the middle of working hours but here, we have full freedom.
 

Academics Rating
The course I chose is Information Technology. Everyone says, it has similarities to Computer Science. Eligible to join the college we can write EAMCET exam and get a good score that matches the desired course then apply the college. We can also enter the college through donation. In any course chosen in BE have same timetable when conducting exams. They are two internal exams then finally semester exams. Here weekly you will have CRT classes where professional give you guidance. You can ask them which skill needed and what we should study to become successful.
The fee is Rs. 1,30,000. This fee is for 2 semesters. There is a special fee of Rs. 6,500, which includes using library, etc. There is no special discount available, but with cast, you can get little concision. There are government scholarships available for lower cast students or high scorer in EAMCET. I don't know specifics about the amount.t.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty gives you brief details of the topics. If the students do not understand topics, the faculty will repeat the topics. After completing the entire syllabus, if they have free classes they will revise the topics. The faculty contains qualified highly educated individuals. They also have many years of teaching experience. If the subject requires students to solve problems then they will teach on the board and if the topic is theoretical then they prepare PPTs.
 

Placement Rating
Placement at MVSR Engineering College for the last decade has been impeccable. Most of the big MNC's and top-notch industry leaders visit the campus during the placements. Usually placement season starts during the vacation of 3rd year’s 2nd semester and goes through the whole year until the 4th year ends. Average salary that a company hire at MVSR bags up is somewhere between 5.5 - 7.0 LPA. Just yesterday, students from ECE branch have placements 4 people are selected for Cognizant company.
 

Hostel Rating
College does provide hostels but I am a discolor student. I do not have clear idea about the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
In campus, every course has its own block but freshers have a separate block where students of all branches share a single block. Campus is located in Nadargul Range Ruddy district, Telangana. Inside the campus, almost all places are monitored except few private places. Every block have seminar halls, labs, etc. For library, there is separate block. Campus places importance in sports as every now and then competition is conducted in the campus. Campus will give permission for players to attend other colleges’ competitions.
 

Campus Rating
Campus has been amazing here students have more freedom than any other college I know. Inside campus sometimes feels crowded but sometimes desolate. we have many clubs in the college for example drama club, photography club, dance club, etc. It conducts many small events like flash mobs and large-scale fests like Sangraam that was held in April 2024.

    The college has a large library, separate blocks for each branch, and well-equipped labs. It also has a sports ground, automobile workshops, and food stalls. The faculty is well-qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. The Placement Cell at MVSR has a success rate of around 80%.     Missing out on IITs is never a good feeling but then MVSR happened to me. Yes, automobile engineering here is the most famous department but CSE too is equally good. Some harsh faculties and too much of practical applications but it’s all worth it as I have met some IITians during internships and it felt no different competing with them education wise....
