LIET Hyderabad: Quality Academics and Teaching Staff

Overall Rating
LIET Hyderabad is a minority institute. My overall experience in this institute is very excellent. I chose this institute because of its good management and faculty. It is accredited with NAAC (A grade) and is an autonomous that is very beneficial for students. Another thing that made me choose this institute was good academic structure.
 

Academics Rating
I chose to study Computer Science with Data Science specialization because it has more value in the future and this institute has best faculties and academics for this branch. If anyone wants to join this institute, first they have to write EAMCET exam and then secure rank between 2 lakh. If you get good rank, your admission is free of cost. There are 5 exams conducted in a year. The academics here prepare us very well to deal with real world problems.
The fee for Data Science in LIET Hyderabad is around Rs. 1,35,000 per year. But I haven't paid any penny because I clear EAMCET exam in which I secured good rank. Hence, my fee will be paid by government. The admission fee is around Rs. 500, a registration fee is Rs. 1000, and lab fee are Rs. 500 per semester. There is no discount in fee for students. Yes, students can apply for national or state scholarship because institute doesn't provide any financial aid.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty here is excellent in teaching. They have so much knowledge about their subject. They are from NITs, IITs, and some are from BITs Pilani. Their methods of teaching are very excellent as they use PPTs. problem solving abilities of faculties are very good. According to my knowledge, the teacher student ratio is 5:8 but I'm not sure about that. The faculties are very friendly with students.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell in our institute is average. It gives training to the students after completing 3 academic years. They conduct classes and seminars on placement activities, which is very helpful for us. Some companies like Tech Mahindra, Wipro, and TCS visit the institute and select many students. They offer package between Rs. 3 to 5 LPA. According to my experience. The placements are average and I didn't apply for any job yet because I'm in 2nd year.
 

Hostel Rating
No, LIET Hyderabad doesn't provide any hostel or residential facility. The students have to search for hostel near the institute. Yes if you search for separate hostel for boys and girl definitely, you get it nearby to institute. In my hostel, the mess food is average and you can take food anytime. I pay around Rs. 5,000 every month to the hostel. Hostel rules are not much tricky. My personal experience and my advice to students is to look for flats with 2 to 3 friends because that is best.
 

Infrastructure Rating
In my institute, there are 2 blocks: one for seniors and another for juniors. The campus is very beautiful and good looking. Our institute has big garden. The classes are very big and have large seating capacity. It also has big library with so many books. For Computer Science students, computer labs are there with good systems. For event, there is a big seminar hall. My favorite place is canteen where my friends and I chill in free time.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life here is very excellent and very memorable. The crowd is very good because there are around 1000+ students are there. Yes, senior’s students run clubs such as Microsoft club and Google club. I am a member of this club. Institute celebrates food fests, technical fest, and sports day event every year. My experience of the campus life is very memorable and very good. Hope I remember this memories in future.

    My experience in Lords Institute of Engineering and Technology is very good according to studies and faculties. I chose this Institute because it is a minority Institution in Hyderabad and also it is an autonomous Institute which is very beneficial for students. Another reason I joined this Institute is because my EAMCET rank matched with this Institutes requirement.
