Overall Rating
My overall experience at this University was good. It is approved by UGC and recognised by NAAC & NBA. The University looks like mini city from inside. The campus area is around 600 acres & students are from both all parts of the country. Day scholars are provided bus facilities. The placement training is offered and the cell has direct corporate tie-ups with foreign Universities. The huge sports complex and active support.

Academics Rating
For a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, the entry process requirement is to have at least 60% marks in Intermediate. You can join based on score you get in LPUNEST or JEE Main exams. The course operates on a semester wise system with a continuous evaluation.
For my this program at LPU Jalandhar, the tuition fee was Rs. 1,20,000/- without scholarship, after getting 27% scholarship my fee was Rs. 92,400/-. Rs. 4000/- per semester was examination fee.

Faculty Rating
The faculty teaching in my department is a mix of experienced professors with Ph.D and young assistant professors. Many of them are highly talented and having strong industry skills. The teaching culture was blend of tutorials, theory, practical, and lectures. The average student to teacher ratio was 1:20 or 1:30. The faculty members are helpful in writing research papers and patent ideas.

Placement Rating
The University has a specified division for each for placement. The cell prepares students by running continuous placement programs. The highest package of the University is 51.08 LPA (by Microsoft) and average package was around 6 LPA to 8 LPA.

Hostel Rating
The University offers on campus residential facilities to both student and faculty. The rooms are available in 1to 8 seater which are available in air conditioned and air cooled options. In a day, 3 meals are offered to us hostellers.

Infrastructure Rating
The University is situated at Jalandhar -Delhi highway in Punjab. There are nearly 70+ building including academic buildings, residential blocks, etc. There is big Shanti Devil Mittal auditorium. The 6-floored library has books research papers, journals, books, etc. along with this University provides e-library for all students.

Campus Rating
My overall campus life was awesome with good memories. The crowd is very huge. Cultural sessions, sports activities, and other events are conducted by students committees. There are many clubs as well.

    Overall Rating
I chose this University because I feel its culture it quite different from others. In addition, the more interesting thing is semester exchange and study-abroad opportunities. There is also RPL for some courses, where you can get exception from the exams and learn from outside the classroom. Grade Upgradation is present for some courses, where students can re-attempt for exams in order to improve your marks. These are some of the unique features of this University.... Read Full Review

My overall experience in this University is decent. Academics, faculties, extracurricular activities, and placements everything is fine. if they are serious and focused on their career and goals then they will get the opportunity but if they are just willing to join for fun and not focuses on academics and other stuffs then they will face difficulty surviving here as the lifestyle here is a bit exhausting so you need to be ready for that....
