Placement Opportunities at Galgotias University: Companies, Packages

Overall, it’s been a great experience at Galgotias University. It is situated in a very silent area. The infrastructure of university is also very good and modern. The classrooms are very spacious and natural lights came to every class in the university. The university regularly organizes events which I thinks are best part. Many movie promotional events had also organized here.

Since I am very fascinated about Artificial Intelligence and all, I chose this stream as it offers Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning as specialization. The eligibility criteria is not that is very hard to meet it is very basic like every other university. The admission process is very easy you can also do the admission without going to university. Earlier CATs were held in every 2 months but now MTE is held in the middle of the semester and then the final ETE exam happens.

So my fee is Rs. 1,60,000 per year which includes academic as well as exam fee (which I think is Rs. 10,000 per year). There were rebates also if you pay before the duration of time or pay all the fee at once. For UP students, UP government provide scholarships and many of friends also got this scholarship.

Overall, I like the faculty of the university very much. The faculty is very supportive and helpful in nature. You can contact the faculty through their number and meet them personally also. Every faculty has their own method of teaching. Some use blackboards while some use PPTs to teach. The faculty tries to solve every doubts or questions of each and every students. The faculty is also very friendly in nature and some faculty comes from the IITs also.

From 7th semester, you are eligible to sit on campus placements. There were many companies and some big companies also visits the university are Wipro, Infosys, etc. The highest package I got to know is 24 LPA and the average is 3 LPA. The university has above 97% placement rate.

Yes, Galgotias University offers residential facilities. The hostels for boys and girls are separate. Else, I don’t know much about hostels, as I didn’t opt for hostel.

Overall, the campus is very big and spacious. There are 3 blocks and 1 more block is under construction. There are 2 libraries in the university and you can issue any book from the library using your ID card. Cafeteria is also available and is very big and you get almost everything but in veg only. Lifts are also available and min 4 lifts per block are available. Classrooms are very spacious and are well air-conditioned. There are 2 main gates: one is in the front where you can enter the university and faculty members can use this gate to park their cars on the front while another one is at back of the university which is mainly used for parking cars or motorcycle of the students.

Overall, my university is good and I enjoy every second of my university life. I made a lot of good and local friends. Overall, the crowd of the university are mainly from UP and there are many international students also. Yes, there are many clubs in the university but since I don’t live near the university so I didn’t join any club. Yes, events are frequently held in the university.
