Sanjay Ghodawat University for B.Tech in AI & Machine Learning

I am studying in Sanjay Ghodawat University Kolhapur from 2021. This university has world-class infrastructure and clean campus. Overall good campus experience. If you want good campus experience so you can choose this university.

I chose B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning because I have interest in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning that why I chose this course. Entry requirement is having completed 12th. We have to visit the admission cell and the cell explains you process which is very easy. We have to pay some admission fee first. There are 3 exams per semester conducted in every 2 months, first 2 exams are for 30 marks, and last one is end semester, which is of 100 marks.

Fee for the course is Rs. 1,16,500 per year if we get scholarship. Without scholarship, it is Rs. 1,37,500 per year, this fee included tuition fee, admission fee, and registration fee. If you have more than 80% in 10th and 12th, it will provide you scholarship. There is Pragati scholarship for girls is available in university.

The faculties are very decent. Some are experienced, they teach us very well. Some facilities have very well experienced in teaching and done masters. Some teachers teach by using blackboard and PPTs in projectors. The problem solving abilities are average. The student teacher ratio is average. Some teachers are approachable but some are very strict.

There is placement cell in Sanjay Ghodawat University Kolhapur that brings companies to university. It brings many companies but most of the companies are providing internship and training based companies. The programs are taken to give information about the placement process, eligibility, behavior, etc. the companies visited are Wisdom Sprout, Q Spider, and Enthrall. The average package offered is 1.5 Lakh Per Annum. My experience is decent with the placement.

Yes, Sanjay Ghodawat University Kolhapur has big residential facilities. Having many buildings of 5 floors each. In each room, 4 students reside and 14 rooms per floor are there. They provide lights, 2 fans, 4 beds, 3 tables, and hot water. Drinking water is also there available. Girl and boy’s hostels have separate buildings. Mess quality is very decent . It charges Rs. 3,500 per month for mess. Hygiene is good. Hostel fee is Rs. 57,000 per year. Hostel is closed at 6 PM for girls and 7 PM for boys. Hostel rules are very strict. My personal experience is good at hostel.

The campus is world class and best in the area. There is A, B, & C blocks are there and institutional building is also there. Our campus is very big around 165 acres. Classroom is very big having fans, lights, and projectors. Capacity is 70 students. Library is also there having lots of books. Labs are well equipped and spacious. World-class auditorium is also there. We have big canteen called food court, big cricket ground like real cricket ground, medical facilities also available 24/7, transportation is also available with so many buses, and 24/7 security also available. We have big lake inside the campus that I like as there are ducks in the lake. Green lush plants and grass feels very fresh. All the facilities are available which makes campus life experience very good.

My overall campus experience is very good. Crowd is also good and come from well-educated families. There are knowledge club, adventure club, and coding club. I am part of adventure club. Extra curriculum activities are also conducted like gathering, sports, festivals, fresher’s party, etc. The annual fest called ‘Umang’ is conducted on the birthday of Mr. Sanjay Ghodawat sir in February, which is bigger fest.
