So the college is actually a good college if you take it for what it is. For me personally I would say I like the college more for its infrastructure and diversity of students. It is strict with its compulsory 75% attendance and many different rules for dress code, usage of phones inside classrooms and everything but it is manageable once you get the hang of it. I chose this college as it was similar to the college that I wanted.

I chose BBA because of the flexibility of the course as it is diverse and I can make you industry ready and also have the option to work in multiple industries. Eligibility for my course was a minimum 40% in 10+2 and a personal interview which was easy. I first applied online through the college website and paid the application fee and uploaded my details and documents and was scheduled for an interview and was selected the next day. The interview was simple and easy with not much preparation as it was more personal than academic.

I pay a yearly fee of Rs. 95,000 which will be the same till I graduate but had to pay an additional fee of Rs. 18,000 as I was a student outside Karnataka. Fees depend on your courses and also increase for every new batch that joins. Exam fees are also collected during the end of every semester and students can get discounts based on their reservations as well. Scholarships are provided by Kristu Jayanti College for merit, sports, students with disability and various other schemes.

Faculties, at least for my department are all well qualified with some having more than five degrees also. They all have years of experience and also are quite friendly and approachable and tries their best to help the students. Although not all the teachers are like that, most of them try their best to help the students. Teaching methods are usually ppts projected on the screen. The faculty is well knowledgeable in their field although not all. A normal BBA class room for general would have a teacher student ratio of 1:70. Sometimes more sometimes less. My experience with the faculty has been good with many teachers trying their best to help and although I have met quite a few teachers that aren't at all bothered, it doesn't impact me as I rely on the good teachers.

Students are eligible for placements from their fifth semester onwards and they must have a minimum 85% attendance to sit for placements. A placement cell is available in the college and they help students prepare for group discussions, personal interview and aptitude. It tries it's best to bring as many offers as they can from various companies. The cell also conducts orientation and seminars for students in placement. Some renowned companies that visit are EY, JP Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, etc. Packages for BBA are average and the highest till date would be around 7- LPA and average would be 2-3 LPA. For me I didn't sit for placements as I have to go for further studies.

The college has four blocks, the admin block, the main block, MBA block and the newly constructed humanities block all having canteens of their own. Campus size is quite small as compared to other colleges but it is filled with greenery and the locality is also kind of outskirts from the main city. Classrooms are well lit and have at least a capacity to seat 80+ students. Projectors are also available in all classrooms. Library is available in all the four blocks, auditoriums are also available in every block and we have multiple auditorium, the biggest one in admin block that is used for big events. An infirmary is also available with a nurse, security is also good in the college as the guards make sure you wear your ID or else you won't be allowed in the campus. The college also has a few buses used for students to go to events and trips. The thing I like most about the college infrastructure is its minimal design and the greenery of the college gives it a fresh feel to it.

The campus life in Kristu Jayanti College is quite dependable if you have the right group of friends and people. I would say the crowd is decent but not the best and also it's quite diverse with people from many different states come and study here. Even students from other countries are also attending Kristu Jayanti College. There are various clubs like Red cross, KJC music academy, dance club and all. Fests and events are all organised department wise and the only ones worth mentioning are Ethnic Day and woodrock. Ethnic day is held once a year and all the students of Kristu Jayanti College can come in their traditional attires for dance performances and dj show and woodrock is a music fest where various college bands perform. Campus life for me was average as I had more fun outside the college.
