review on my college raj kumar goel institute of technology

Overall Rating
My overall experience at the Institute is quiet good. The faculties are of supportive nature and this made me choose this particular Institute. There is not as much big difference between other Institutes and the only difference is that we have recognized faculty. Faculties here are well experienced and qualified.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) branch is computer science and the specialization is internet of things (IOT). Institute admission can be done in two ways one is direct admission and the other one is through counseling. In direct admission you just only need good marks in your 12th grade (PCM) and counseling is done by recognizing the JEE marks. Exams are conducted twice, week academics and skill preparation. Sometimes due to more number of examinations the exams are even collapsing. At one side you have to prepare for your exams and academics as well. On the other hand you have to work on your skill set.
The fee of B.Tech is Rs. 1,11,500. Exam fee for every year is Rs. 7,500. No special discount in fee is provided. You can apply for scholarship every year. I don’t know about any financial aid provided by our Institute to the students.
 

Faculty Rating
Personally I think that the faculties support is more important for student to have a good and better Institute life. The faculties in here are so good in nature and have supportive nature. Some faculties also have ego issues. Background of faculty members is good. Faculty members use resources like PPT’s, Boards, group discussion, etc. to make the students understand the topics. Problem solving ability is average of the faculty members.
 

Placement Rating
Placement is average in our Institute, as our Institute is tier 3. Also the sales companies are approaching our Institute for the placements, product based companies are approaching, etc. Packages offered are average. Placement experience has been average.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are mediocre. The Food and Water of hostel is average. The rooms and infrastructure is good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
As infrastructure of our Institute is average, the infrastructure is not good. Campus is compact also classes & playgrounds are small too. The additional facilities provided at the Institute are library, washrooms, seating arrangement, etc.
 

Campus Rating
Our campus life is average. Campus is very small. The Institute roads are mostly covered by car and buses.

    This is above average institute. Personally I like it very much. It has a good reputation with above average placement record so I chose to take admission in this institute. Even so, having 75% attendance per subject is essential.
