KLU Guntur Hostels: Facilities and Insights

I have still one semester before I pass out from KL University. Overall I have had good experience in this University. Before I joined in this University I was not good at communication skills and some of the basic technical skills. After I took admission here. I started my journey with some languages like C, Java, Python, SQL and some of others concepts. Bachelor computer & applications is not too tough. We can learn basics and score good marks. This University is near to my house that's why I have chosen this University. As compared to other Universities KL University has good environmental space and all courses are available here. There are good placement drives. We should have good CGPA and communication skills along with technical skills. We can easily get a job from here. One thing that is good in this University as compared to others is that it is completely environment friendly.

In the year 2022, many of the students chose B.Tech and they have been charging more money for the same. I had decided to take BCA course. We should write entrance exam of KL University or any other entrance exam. Minimum of 60% is needed to qualify for BCA seat. First they will charge Rs. 15,000 for admission fees and they will tell you to pay 1st semester fees. Based on the intermediate marks and entrance exam marks they will decide how much fees to pay per semester. The academics have well defined courses that are very useful for students.

The fee for bachelor computer & applications in KL University in the year 2022 per semester was Rs. 90,000 and then year wise was for two semesters was Rs. 1,80,000. In present year 2025, the fees has been increased per semester so the fee now is Rs. 1,37,000 and year wise for two semesters the fee is Rs. 2,24,000. Admission fee charged is Rs. 15,000. By gaining good score in the entrance exams or intermediate board exams they will decrease the fee and will offer special discounts based on the category of students. There are scholarships available for the students of minimum Rs. 10,000 and maximum money Rs. 25,000. They are helping the students financially.

The faculty members here at KL University have good teaching skills. Every faculty has special talent in their teaching field. Many of them have done masters and Ph.D in the teaching filed. They are the high profile lecturers. In my University some classes have digital touch screen boards and some classes have white boards. Many of the faculties explain the concepts by seeing the PPT’s with clear solution. If anyone has doubt or does not understand then the students have freedom to ask and they can change the faculty, If they do not understand what is taught. Teacher student relationship is so nice. There are positive responses from teachers and they help in studies and in other activities too. I have good bond with all my faculties. They support us for our future too.

Recently in KL University the cell had conducted placement drive successfully. Many of my friends are placed in some companies. I have chosen this for higher studies that are why I do not attend placement drives. Whoever is interested can join the placement drive. They should have good CGPA and good technical and communication skills. By this we can easily get a job. Bachelor of computer & application’s starting package is 4 lakh and highest package is 20 lakh. There are many courses that we can pursue in KL University. The highest package is 35 lakh for the bright students.

There are hostels in KL University. All are having spacious and well designed rooms for boys and girls. If you want to cut some fee, you can connect with some higher authorities and decrease your University and hostel fee. Girls have separate hostel. About Hostel’s monthly fee I have no idea because my house is near to University I am staying outside of University. I ate my University’s hostel food once and it was good. I have also been to my friends room and that was good as well. The rooms are well - designed but some are still under construction. They complete the work as soon as possible.

My University has many blocks. At the starting of my joining days I got fully confused and went to another block. There are map boards that can guide you easily from one block to another block. It has a large campus with various facilities like big library, with all of subject books. Additional books are also available in our library. There are grounds and courts for tennis, badminton, and indoor stadiums. There is a large spacious hall. It looks like big theatre and there are some canteens too. Whenever we feel bad or boring we go to canteen for time pass. The canteens food is also good. My favorite place is canteen named as Satish canteen and there are two halls, one is large one another one is medium sized named as peacock hall. For me these places are my favorite and mainly grounds and there are also cricket nets that we can use for practice. In my University, security is really good. We have some strict rules like having tucks, shoes, good discipline and all this will be checked by the security.

Overall I have a lot of memories in my University. I got good friends and I learned basic concepts. The students have no burden while doing this course, bachelor computer & applications. Many of the students are joining in this University and per class 60 students. There will be no suffocation in the class. The classes are well - designed and have more space for students. Good classes and University is environmental - friendly. The management conducts 3-4 events in an year and students can join the clubs that can lead there team members and learn many things. I got good friends and good faculty. I performed in many dance programs in my University. I have many memories in my University. Just one thing my teachers told me that you can gain knowledge through extracurricular activities by our own. We can learn new things and achieve many things in my University. Much freedom is given by the management.
